What made you choose your RH & what are some of the things you LOVE about it??
I was in a fashion show there when I was 12 & remember coming home saying, this is where I want to have my wedding. We have gone to functions there over the years, & always went to the restaurant and I'd stare in awe at the hall just wishing for it one day. Knowing this place is way out of our budget I didn't even consider looking there. Why?, so that I could walk out crying & disappointed? It would have been so upsetting. FSIL's SIL works there & had convinced us to just go as a last minute appointment one night to just get a quote. FH & I both liked a few others but couldn't agree on one hall, until then. They ended up giving us the best price & the most for our money. From that moment on, my dream was about to come true!
I love the over all elegance & marble floors, especially the dance floor. The chandaliers..as I am 100% Italian I can proudly admit to loving the 'gaudiness' haha. Also the fireplace in our room, the beautiful mural on the opposite wall reminds me of Italy, & my Grandma & Grandpa who passed away. Last but not least we LOOOVE THE FOOD!! We left the showcase like 'wow! everything we put in our mouth was amazing even the cakes!' and we were even happier with our choice

I actually never even planned to look at it. I decided I would because I heard it was re-done and I dont like that whole floral look. I figured it would be good practice when we went to others. As soon as we went we fell in love with thecontemperary art- deco! FH was in love with it and I didn't even think he would care too much. We loved the cocktail room as well!! We went to look at the westbury manor and REALLLLY wanted to book it because the BM Natasha is an old friend and awesome and we felt so comfortable with her but it just wasn't what WE were looking for!

I really didn't know much about LI RHs but when I got to Crest Hollow I just looooved the entrance and how we were treated especially...I thought the ballrooms were so spacious and that's something I really wanted! It really helped that my father know the family who owns our RH and they really gave us a great deal! all in all i know we are going to be treated like true VIPs on our wedding day and that was so important to us. Also our wedding is around holiday time and I love how it's decorated outside and in.

Whenever I have ever mentioned Flowerfield was an option for me.. from every person who has been there always tells me it is by far the best wedding they have ever been to. People still tell me that all the time.
It was soooo different on the inside than anything else I've seen. I like originality and this just did it for me. After I saw Flowerfield nothing compared to it. the indoor pond with bridge. Plus the pond out front with the swans. the vineyards. everything I could possibly want wrapped into one place.
Also one event at a time - and it was close to my home which was important because I don't want to be traveling crazy far. Plus with so many reception halls in my area (I live by the water) I wanted something we haven't all been too a million times. Flowerfield doesn't advertise except like in a few bridal magazines - so it lives on word of mouth.. and does very well considering the high price lol

When I walked into OFC I knew that this was where I would love to have my reception. I just love the whole ambiance of the place. I love that my RH is very simple and elegant. Love how it on the water and has hardwood floors throughout the ballroom. I also love the high vaulted ceilings, french doors, and simple chandeliers. They also only have one wedding per day, which I am very happy about. I truly love everything about it!
ofc is so pretty! My local beach is right there, I think that's where I want to take my engagement shots, the whole area is gorgeous.
ps I don't know if you've eaten there but the food is REALLY yummy.

We chose our RH b/c we went to look at about 10 (didn't go into all) some from the outside we knew it wasn't for us..our RH was #4 on our list..every RH after was getting compared to it (even though it was not the lowest price)
What we love:
The grounds, that it doesn't look like a 'hall', the staff has been great everytime we went & we are getting sooooo much food

I loove marble floors.. that was the only thing we didn't have at my rh (they have wood floors in the ballroom)... I have to look up your rh now it sounds like something I'd like.. me and my Italian-ness are excited! lol

We booked Chateau Briand and we REALLY wanted a RH when people walk into it they would be like 'WOW!!!' I think CB has that WOW affect as well as the service and we just fell in love with the place. FH is really laid back and ok with whatever I decide, but with RH he REALLY wanted C.B. And I really loved it too. We could really picture our wedding there...
