Are you planning on taking pictures somewhere else besides the RH? If so where? What are your must have shots besides the usual family photos etc..
So I really want to go to Old Westbury gardens but my FH thinks its too similar to our RH. He wants to do something different like DUMBO but I want pictures in front of the gate and the mansion LOL
Must have shots- the look on his face once he sees me, some cultural/traditional shots, im having a darbuka/drum player play as i leave my house, rolls royce pictures, and shots by the pool/gazebo at my RH

I would have liked too but I think we don't have tie too...plus Flowerfield has a lot of gorgeous spots to take pics right on location.

I am almost positive we are doing ours at the Vanderbilt mansion!!! I'm so excited because its where I've always wanted to do them so I hope it works out with time. I def want funny shots with alcohol. I saw a few on Pinterest that were hilarious! like the bride drinking a beer and all the groomsman passed out. Haha FH and i are silly like that. My photog has a lot of different types of shots that I love too. I'm sure ill make a list in the future.

Aside from the grounds of our RH, we are taking pictures at a theatre in Northport as theatre is very close to both of our hearts. We will also probably be taking some pictures on Main Street in Northport & by the water.
Must have photos--A picture of me in my dress with my dogs before we leave for the church, His face when he sees me walking down the aisle, a picture of both of our immediate families & us together.

We will both be getting ready and doing our 'first look' at the Allegria Hotel. They have great indoor spaces for pictures and then we had also planned on taking it outside to the boardwalk and beach but not sure how things are there now Post-Sandy so we'll see. We are also getting to our RH nice and early and taking more bridal party and family shots there prior to the ceremony.

We're taking our pictures at Old Westbury Gardens. You pick three locations there, so that's about it. The only shots I'll be requesting are with certain family members and making sure certain details of the reception are photographed. I don't feel I need to direct my photographer. I trust her and know she will find that best shots.

You'll definitely get boardwalk shots! The boardwalk is pretty damaged in the eastern end. Farther west is a lot better!

We are going to take some picture on the golf course at Carlyle besides that I want to go to the Arboritum as well.
For must have pictures I need to have a picture of FH watching me walk down the asile and a picture of my mom my grandma and me all with our wedding rings on :)

Besides my RH, I'll do some getting ready pics at my mom's house.
One must-have pic I need is one of me in front of this tree on my mom's front laws. Ever since I was a kid she would always take pictures of me and my brother in front of it when we were all dressed up for special events--first day of school, communion, graduation, etc., so I definitely need one there in my wedding dress.
I also want some book-oriented pics since I'm such a bookworm. Maybe me in front of the wall of bookcases in my parent's den, and I want one of the wedding rings resting on the 6th Harry Potter book, open to the chapter 'The Unbreakable Vow'.

FW has this too, except they had to take the tree down because it was getting tangled in their septic lines so now they have this itty bitty tree to replace it so it may look kinda funny, but it's 'their spot'
