QOTD 12/20

I know it is a blah day on the boards but i will attempt a question

What is the one thing you are most nervous about going wrong on your wedding day?

with me it is FH stepparents pulling a stunt. FH parents haven't seen each other since they got divorced when he was 2 so it will be an interesting day when the 2 meet again and his stepparents are just very jealous people so that is what I am worried about.

I'm afraid of what FH's mother may do. She doesn't seem interested in this whole wedding thing. When I first said I loved WM, she said it was a 2nd rate place, and told FH that if we booked, she would go to the wedding under protest. she's being very weird about the whole process, i just hope she doesn't screw something up.

she seriously said that. Well FH stepfather was trying to get us to book a place in Tappan (that is where they live) he said he is not going to our wedding if he needs to travel over a bridge and he said that he wants to be seated right near the door.

yea, she seriously said that. we've been trying to get her to go to Polo Lounge to eat and just to see the place but she refuses to go. we also invited her to the showcase in oct, but she refused to go. my mother on the other hand, has been just as obsessed with WM as i am.

well at least you mother is in love with it. Your FMIL seems like a wackado. Oh well it is her loss. She just seems like she doesn't want to be happy for you guys and will pick on every little thing on your wedding day

A few things, the weather being horrible (but u cant change that) and people not having a good time - especially fh's parents cuz they are divorced and they dont see each other much. plus its not a small wedding and fh's mom doesnt like being around many people. so im kinda worried about that

I get worried about the weather too because that is one of the reasons why I chose my Rh - so we can take pics in the gardens

yea me too! we have an incredible outdoor view of the long island sound and i would be so disappointed if it rained. theres even a nice size deck to go out on during the night

Yeah, the weather is probably my biggest fear at this point. I haven't planned enough to think of anything else going wrong lol. I would love to get married outside..hope it works out that way!!

I definitely worry about the weather, I also picked my rh because of all the outdoor photo ops...

I also worry about some of the members of my family behaving themselves. We are a interracial couple, and despite being together for almost 10 years, a few relatives are totally against this. If they come to the wedding, and that's a big if, I hope they are respectful

hmm i dont care if it snows, i would lik esome snow on the ground for pics, i would just hate for it tos now that day and it be dangerous for my guests.

also me tripping over my dress on the steps of the bridge i have to walk over

I am afraid that FMIL will not be there. She is very sick and she keeps saying if she is still on oxygen and using a walker she will not be at the wedding. I feel bad for FH everytime she says that because his dad died 4 yrs ago and he has no bro or sis and I know he wants his mom to be there for his day.
