It's crazy see the date getting closer and closer to OUR YEAR!!! With that being said, what was the best part of 2011 for you? Also, what are you looking forward to the most in 2012 (besides our amazing weddings that I can't wait to see all the photos of!!)
For me, the best part of 2011 was FH finally being made full time at his job. He was definitely in a rut, and feels really unproductive when he's not working full time. I think it made me happier than it made him. Of course, our civil ceremony next Wednesday should be pretty great as well! In 2012, I'm most looking forward to ringing in the new year with FSIL and FBIL who are coming from Seattle! Other than that, looking forward to a happy and healthy year.

getting engaged was definetly the best of 2011! In 2012 I have tons to look forward too- wedding, graduating medical school and starting residency which means finally making some money!

2011 was great-FH and I moved, I finished my first masters, got accepted to NYC Teaching Fellows and started my career as a special education teacher and got engaged!
I am looking forward to 2012 for lots of reasons-but mostly I am looking forward to getting married!

best part = knowing that being engaged and wedding stuff isn't overcontrolling us - we had a lot of hard times and overcame a lot of misfortunes this past year but overall we are still together and stronger than ever in our relationship!

Engagement pics...It was the collusion btwn my hairstylist, makeup artist, and photographer. It showed what I will look like at the wed dinging and was the first indication that this was really happening

The last half of 2011 has been very difficult regarding the car accident I was in and the injuries to my spine i sustained. But, the way FH has stood by me and supported me through one of the most difficult times of my life has proven once again how blessed I am to be marrying such a wonderful man.
