Hi! Hope everyone is excited for Christmas. I am so excited to get together with my family tonight. I’m most excited to see FH’s kids’ faces when they get all their gifts from my family.
Anyway, I have a few questions today. I found them online. They are from a list of questions brides should ask themselves before they get married.

My answers: How can your loved ones best support you throughout your engagement and on your wedding day? They can keep their opinions to themselves…unless I ask for it. I don’t like people telling me what to do : )
What is your biggest fear when you think of your wedding day and your marriage? I don’t have a fear of marriage itself. My fears are all related to things that could happen on the wedding day…rain, bad hair or makeup, looking like crap in my wedding dress, FH getting drunk b/c his friends are giving him shots Why are you getting married? I love FH and want to spend the rest of my life with him. But if I had to be 100% honest, I want the big party. We already live together and I don’t want kids (he has two that live with us), so things wont change once we are married. I really do just want the party to celebrate how much we love each other. Probably sounds terrible
How do you see your role as a wife? I wont be the typical wife. I don’t like to cook, clean or do anything the wife usually does. I kind of see myself more as the husband. I am more of the provider and one that makes sure everything is taken care of.

We are VERY different people…and getting used to each other’s ways of thinking is an ongoing journey. I think we’ll continue to grow closer and better understand one another throughout the marriage

What is your biggest fear when you think of your wedding day and your marriage? PASSING OUT FROM ANXIETY!! (at the wedding). After marriage, it's losing him too soon :(
Why are you getting married? Because I am marrying my best friend, and would rather be with him than without him.
How do you see your role as a wife? Equal partnership, but very devoted. I;m always on his side, even when he pizzes me off!

Absolutely. We have very similair morals and values. Would not be marrying him otherwise!

No fears, I am just so excited. Can't live in fear, I know we will succeed and have a wonderful marriage

I found someone who loves me more than anything and would do anythign for me...and vice versa

I'm freaking awesome, so I know I will be a wonderful wife - love to cook, hate to clean though

I fear the rough times. I think in a relationship it's different b/c you have the option of just leaving.A marriage is so much more and you really have to work twice as hard. For my wedding day, i fear people acting out and making a foolout of themselves and embarrassing me.

Im getting married b/ci love my fiance. I have always pictured myself having a family with him and living our lives together.
How do you see your role as a wife?
I def see myself being the organized one. I want to be the wife that takes care of her husband. I want peopleto see that i truly am committing myself to this person.
Do you stand to lose more or gain more?
I think youlose and gain things. I def will lose things like my independence especially when we have kids b/c then you'relife is nolonger about just you. But i think in losing that i will be gaining much more.

I really hope we can grow together-whats the point of being married if you can't. For the most part i agree with his lifestyle.I dont always like the choices he makes but i learn to work and deal with them.

Why are you getting married? bc i love him more than anything, he makes me feel at ease when i am with him.
How do you see your role as a wife? i am such a suzy homemaker its not funny...Typical modern day italian wife

We have learned thats its ok to disagree about certain things that we do...We just try to make sure that what we do doesnt hurt the other person...We are always learning new things about each other as our interests change, so I feel that we are able to grow throughout our marriage

Why are you getting married? because i love him. he is the only guy for me. he loves me unconditionally. i want to start a family and new life with him.
