Sorry I am late today, but I worked a 12 hour shift at the hospital.
How involved is your FH in the wedding planning process?
Mike has been great in the planning process even though I probably annoy him everyday with new questions and information about the wedding. I value his opinion and I am glad that he is able to help me.

As much as possible for a dude, lol. He's game for anything but he likes to take his time. Meanwhile if something comes to mind, I want to do it right away.

He gets involved at the most random times. I showed him the prelim guest list yesterday and he was like, yeah whatever. But I tell him i want to register after the holidays and he's like YES lets do that! Lol. I joke all the time that it's really mine and my MOH's wedding because we're planning most of it together. But, he did tell me, if you're planning it I know it will be the best wedding. Aawwww... Lol.

Andy is a big help. He made our save the date cards, researches things for me, called about 20 hotels to narrow down the one we wanted to have a room block in and is even a member on here.
He is enjoying learning about weddings, what is involved and what is recommended like florists, and the best places to buy wedding rings.
We make our decisions together because it is as much his wedding as it is mine, it is tough sometimes though because I have been (as most women have) dreaming of my wedding day since I was 5 and he (like most men) hasn't.
In typical guy fashion though, a task that we would do in one day, waits a few days....must be the testosterone.

not really involved. I always joke he could care less anything we have/pick. than again I am a control freak and like things my way lol so it's better that way. plus he hates planning and making decisions he rather I do it. it's basically like the whole wedding is completely planned by me. with me asking once in awhile what do you think etc? and he's like whatever, or oh yeah I like that, or nah.
tonight I finally got him to start listening to songs to figure out a mother/son dance. that was for 5 minutes before he went to watch his tv show on netflix. I can just see us at the dj in 2 weeks he's gonna be listening to music in the office having NOT decided his song yet!
the most helpful he's been is the figuring out a signature drink lol. we tasted a lot over the weekend. and he also named them.

My FH is involved in every step of the process... the only thing I did without him was dress shopping for myself, my sister and my mom! It's helpful to have him there when I second guess things- he always has some sort of opinion or manly reasoning lol

It's hard to say. My fiancée has absolutely no idea of the timeline in which everything should be taken care of. I dont think she realizes how fast 7 months is going to fly by. The only thing she has had a solid opinion on was the bridesmaids dresses. Once she saw the one he liked - there was no telling her otherwise. Other than that I'm pretty sure she's tired of me always bringing up some detail about the planning. Last night, I asked her what kind of cake topper does she have I'm mind...smh...what was that for? Her answer - like everything else was...'we don't have to worry about that now'.

not much... but that's fine with me :) if i have a question about something then he will help me to make a decision, but otherwise he doesn't really get too involved... he wants to pick the tuxes though because he is into that kind of stuff, and he picked the groomsmen gifts and helped with the DJ choice

haha you guys sound exactly like my sister and her wife! When they were planning their wedding last year, my sister basically planned everything, and her wife was like 'ehh whatever'... her wife tried on ONE wedding dress and was like 'ok this is fine' lol

Hahaha - did it enfuriate your sister like it does me?? Lol - ok so it's not infuriating - but I look at her like 'really?' We're going to look at female cut tuxes this weekend. She's really into her fashion - everything must match perfectly - so Im hoping she will at least give that a little more consideration than everything else. Lol

nah it didn't really infuriate her.. she is very organized so i'm sure she just prefered to do it 'her way' lol.. it'll all work out great! their wedding was beautiful and in the end it only mattered that they could FINALLY get married, not about all of the little wedding details :)

FH is very involved now that we are up to doing detailed stuff he is getting excited. He went to home depot to try to find something that would work for support for a base for centerpieces were are making. He is also going to make our card box.
