QOTD 12/8 and new bride of week!

What is something that you were not planning on getting or doing for your wedding that you decided to include after all?

FH and I were not planning on having a videographer because we thought it was a waste of money. We somehow ended up meeting with one just to see what it would be like. Needless to say we ended up booking with one. You get all the emotions and actions of everyone that you can't get through pictures. I think that we will be watching out wedding video more than looking at the pictures!!

same here with the videographer. my parents are helping us with the venue and they really were sad when we said we werent having a videographer so we decided we could get one after all.
also about a million things that i would never have thought of if it werent for LIW lol!

congrats!!!

we weren't planning on having uplighting, but after going to the bridal showcase at TVI and seeing how amazing it made the room look, we are adding it to our DJ package.

we weren't going to have video either. it was one of the last things we booked. I was so against it until I saw a sample of his work and then totally changed my mind.

I didn't want to do a Bouquet toss or the garter but FH really wants to so I may change my mind. I can't think of anything else yet but I'm sure there's others.

I wasn't planning on spending a lot of money on limos but when we went looking, FH was IN LOVE with the RR Phantom and it was really the only thing he really really wanted, so I gave in.
