what has been the most challenging part of being married - if any?

For us nothing has changed from our dating life to married life. I think part of that is because we lived together for 3 years before and part is that I really believe we know how to deal with each others quirks.......

Nothing really we still feel exactly the same as when we were engaged,we just not get to wear a pretty ring and get to write married on forms and other stuff lol.

I think for us it has to just do with the fact we moved to DC from NY. It has added some stress to be away from family in NY.

Ask me this in a few weeks/months....so far everything has been pretty smooth. I already knew going in that DH was looking for a seamless transition of being mothered to being, well, wifed? In just two days I've been *trying* to wean him to be a little more self sufficient with cleaning up after himself and feeding himself, but I don't think I'm going to have much success.
ETA: we have only been living together since Saturday, and we really haven't had major conflicts to adjust YET, I'm sure they're coming, but it's been pretty easy for us so far.

We have been together and lived together for a long time before we got married so not much has changed except we got a joint bank account and trying to set a budget has been difficult

honestly nothing...
people ways ask us,so how does it feel being married?whats diffrent?
and we both say really nothing..we feel just like we did b4...maybe just always happier cause we r really in that honeymoon phase

married life has been pretty great so far. we had a little bump in the road which was fixed as soon as we figured out what our new schedules would be (i got a new job) and it was pretty much not giving us any 'couples' time...but we figured that out and its good now

For us, the adjustment of living with one another. It was the first month that was tough. Now, it's truly wonderful since we learned how to live with eachother.

Nothing has changed for us...we dated for 7 yrs before we got married and lived together for 19 months so pretty much nada which is good!!!

Not any challenges yet-we've lived together for over 2 years..
The only ADJUSTMENT that's been hard to get used to for me (not for him) is the merging of our finances....it's like 'What? I need to take my bonus check and pay YOUR credit card?' LOL
But it was a good decision for both of us, and we've saved a lot of money because of it.

I totally get this! DH keeps talking about the student loan that I just paid off out of our money. It was only a $3800 loan and we've had finances combined since last Spring.
