QOTD 1/30/13

Morning Ladies,

When did you know the FH was 'the one'?
For me it came about a year after we started dating. Don't get me wrong I instantly fell in love with FH, but a year after dating everything changed. I had a splenic aneurysm. I was hospitalized for a month, FH came everyday to see me. It was during that time that we would just talk and talk (we had nothing else to do). It was also during this time that my parents really got to know FH. It was the scariest time of my life thankfully I had the best support team!

-My surgery was 6 yrs ago last Tuesday crazy how time flys.

Seriously, we would talk for hours. There wasn't any else I wanted to spend my free time. I knew he was the one. Whenever he wasn't around I just felt an emptiness.

FH and I knew each other for five years before we started dating. We didn't just know each other, but we were pretty close friends. He was away with the marine corps and I was away at college. One summer we came home, both single and something just sparked. After 2 weeks of sneaky dates (didn't want to freak out our friends) it was pretty clear to me. He had to go back to NC and we had to make a decision if we were a couple or not. 'What do you want to do about this?' he asked. 'Honestly? I think we should get married.' 5 years later... we are!

I kinda always had a feeling that he was going to affect my life in a big way....since the first day I saw him. We just got along so well and I felt I could be 100% myself around him...I just knew. God definately brought him to me
