FH and I discussed the style that I wanted before we got engaged. The ring was exactly what I wanted. Even though I knew we were getting engaged, I was still surprised when he proposed because he tricked me and threw me off!!!

FSIL and I had a girls sleepover at her apartment and when I arrived, her roommate and her were looking at wedding bands saying they randomly decided to build engagement rings for each other. So they gave the computer to me for me to build one. I was like 'It's not very hard, I want a solitaire, platinum band, no diamonds baguettes, no stones in the band, simple'. Little did I know this was a setup by FH to find out the exact ring I wanted... I believe he went and bought it a few weeks after.
So in answer to the question, of course I love it because it's like I picked out LOL

FH and I shopped around for a while, way before he proposed. I knew I'd love any ring he got, but I did have one I especially loved, and he turned out getting that one. Smart boy.

I Picked out my ring!
My fiancee wanted me to have a ring I would extremely love since I will be wearing FOREVER!
