I enjoyed reading your responses, it seems that almost everyone has the same time frame for baby making lol. We're hoping that we can hold out for at least another year or 2 before that big step since we have plans to travel.
Which brings me to the next QOTD! What has been your favorite travel destination thus far? Either with or without your FH?
I've had the travel bug for quite some time now and this weather isn't helping! Ever since I lived in St. Kitts for 2.5 years, I learned to favor warmer climate FI and I haven't had much time to travel together as of yet, however in 2012 we went to Punta Cana as a gift to ourselves for both graduation and our anniversary! Def recommend Majestic Elegance [go VIP!]
My favorite trip hands down so far is South Africa. (fyi i didn't know FI yet at the time!) When I was a student, a group of us went over to participate in a conservation program. Although it was a lot of hard work, I loved the experience!!

Hello fellow Night Owl :0) FW and I haven't had a chance to travel much. However; we have made it a yearly thing to attend the Food and Wine Festival in Atlantic City. That is a lot of fun for us, FW loves food and slot machines and I love the food and the wine - so it's a great time. I can't wait for us to go out of the country for the first time though - I am dying for some hot weather and a bar in a pool on a Caribbean Island. My favorite travel destination on my own has to be Ocho Rios Jamaica. I did that all inclusive for 5 days – talk about paradise!! I love warm weather, good food, booze and a great party!

The Adirondack Hot Air Balloon Festival - Glen Falls/Queensbury area of NY. We have gone twice and gone up in the balloons both years. Each time there was 1 day that the balloons couldn't go up, but the other day we were able to take flight. It was amazing. I look forward to doing it again.

-Portugal: SO gorgeous. So much history, and the most beautiful churches I've ever seen. You really feel that connection when you set foot inside them. The culture is amazing, and the food is delicious. We travelled all over Portugal and I didn't see a single place I didn't love. The cities have great architecture, the 'country' is absolutely breathtaking.
-Tortola: Most beautiful place in the Caribbean I've seen. The scenery was absolutely stunning to me.
-Cancun: I went when I was 20 with my best friend. I wish I could relive that trip over and over. Such an amazing time, so many amazing people. From the partying to the beautiful resorts, shopping, and the crystal water. So much fun.

My FH and I went to Aruba and it was amazing :) I love it there and have been two other times with my family, so it was really fun to go back with him... we also love going to his parent's house in florida from time to time. His parents still live on LI but plan to move to FL sometime next year, so if we ever need to just get away for a few days and don't want to spend alot of $$, his parents just give us the key to their FL home- We went last March for a few days and it was great to be able to relax in the sun for a few days

Chaz - Portugal has been an obsession of mine since my college days! I have to get there before there's a baby!
Its hard to pinpoint just one 'favorite' - My fav 'palm trees and coconuts' vacation will probably always be Costa Rica. I've been twice - once in college and once 10 years later with FH. Its so chill - and the ecology is just unreal. We're actually considering retiring there.
My favorite European vacation was probably Italy - Firenze, in particular. That was before I met FH. Talk about food. Everything there tastes 10x better than here - even the olive oil is something that you want to just drink outta the bottle. They really know how to live. I also went to Poland with my mom, brother, and moms side of the family. It was really nice, but our grandparents wanted us to see so much in such a short amount of time, I kinda felt like I was on a field trip. I need to go back with FH so we can really enjoy things and see what we want to see.
I can't wait for our honeymoon, which is in Playa Del Carmen. I've always wanted to go to the Mayan Ruins.

The best vacation we've been on was to Aruba. We just went this summer and it was an amazing trip. It's so gorg there, and there's so much to do. The food was amazing. If I'm being honest, that's my number one criteria for how good of a trip it was, lol.
We haven't booked a honeymoon yet and don't know if we'll have the funds. But, I really want to go to Spain. I don't even really know why, I just really want to go. LOL!!
Hawaii- Went twice, both times were before FH and I were dating. One of my BMs lives out there and visiting her has made for some of the funnest memories with my friends.
Beaches Turks & Caicos - FH's and I's first vacation together. He won the trip on the radio so it was awesome because 1) it was free 2) it was all inclusive 3) it was INSANELY gorgeous!! Such a beautiful place
Grand Cascades Lodge, NJ - It feels weird to put this up with tropical locations but it's SUCH a fun resort. We went last year right after we got engaged (and will be returning later this month on our engageaversary). They have a huge dome that they keep at 80 degrees with a pool, hot tub, water slides, sauna etc.. So it feels like a warm vacation in the middle of winter. Plus dinner at Restaurant Latour has got to be the absolute best meal of my entire life. I can't wait to go back! 2.5 more weeks!

favorite trip it's so hard to pick one.
we went to Europe last March London, Paris & Rome so that's definitely up there. I mean it was my dream to go.
we also went to Nashville and loved it so much considering moving there.
but my absolute will never forget trip.....
for my 21st birthday way before I met FH I went with my 2 girls out to Los Angeles and had the most fun ever I mean we took a helicopter ride even!!
anyway me and my BFF (other girl stayed in the apt we rented for the week) met Maroon 5 and got their autographs then saw their special private vip show at the troubadour, hung out with Jake Gyllenhaal who got me a birthday drink! met the lead singer of AFI (different night at a club), saw Jessica Simpson, Nick Lachey at the M5 concert along with ashlee simpson but they stayed up in the even more VIP section and that ryan caraba whatever guy who was popular at the time but was surrounded by girls so we didn't even say hi lol. it was just the best trip & best night ever. I still have my pics with Jake
we also went & saw Jay Leno's show which is filmed during the day. I think Ashlee simpson performed and Jimmy Fallon was on the show.

Hands down, we love to travel to Disney World (or Land) together. We've been many places together but that's our favorite for sure. I have been twice without him and it never feels right. Like I'm cheating on him or something, lol.

Hawaii - unreal! It definitely made it more amazing that FH and I got engaged there.
Other than that, FH and I both had an incredible time in Boston! It was so easy taking the subway everywhere and the Sam Adams tour was a blast!!
There are so many other places I've loved that are more local, but those were definitely my favorite.

Together fh and best trip was Disney. It was my first time going to Disney we had such an amazing time. He was getting a kick out of my reaction to everything. He hadn't been there in like 9 years so he got to experience things he never had before as well.
Before fh and I were dating I went on a cruise with friends to the Caribbean and so much fun went to a few different places but I think Bahamas was my favorite since we went site seeing shopping and did an excursion.

Definitely Hawaii! We went in the summer for fhs best friends wedding. We went to three different islands, got to see peael harbor, and even had sea turtles swimming below us at waikiki beach. It was amazing!
