QOTD 1/8/13

All this cold weather is making me want to get out of NY and lay on a beach some where! Since I have warm weather on my mind....

Where do you and FH plan on going for your HM?

We really wanted to go to Italy for a couple of weeks, and possibly travel down the coast, but in January it's freezing there! So instead we're going to take a mini HM aka long weekend to somewhere close and tropical (like Aruba) and travel to Italy for our official HM in the late spring.

This has been virtually the LAST thing on my mind lately! I REALLY want to go to Hawaii but we'll NEVER afford that. So, probably one of the Caribbean islands. I'd also love to go to Puerto Rico.

We haven't figured that out yet, but we're probably going somewhere tropical. Maybe St. Lucia or Antigua?

We are blessed the FFIL gave us some money to put towards our HM. With that said we will be going to Hawaii. We will hopefully stop in California on the way back, maybe San Francisco. We haven't talked about the specifics because we are really focused on getting a venue right now.

I just found out last night that my good family friend is giving me her week with her time share as part of our wedding present! So.... I have SOOOOO many options!!!

We'd like to do a cruise (which we can use the timeshare for) but we've got time to look around :)

I want somewhere fun and warm and where we can do a shipwreck dive :)

My FH's aunt and uncle are giving us their week timeshare in Aruba as a wedding gift !!

We're debating between going somewhere beautiful we've never been, like St. Lucia or somewhere in South America...

or just sticking to a place we know and love and can spend more time in, like Riviera Maya. Either way we can't wait!

It's hard because we travel so much it's really narrowed down our choices. We should be perma-vacationers. :)

I have a little time to decide but we really want to do something we will never do ever again.

We are thinking of either Bora Bora or Singapore and Maldives. Definitely setting us back alot of money, but it's once in a life time.

We REALLY wanted Bora Bora, but we are already going over our wedding budget so we tuned it down just a bit. We'll be cruising from Ft. Lauderdale to Cozumel, Grand Cayman Islands, Haiti, Jamaica and back to Ft. Lauderdale :)

We originally wanted Hawaii but still need to figure out if we can afford it. We're also considering sandals Antigua

Other ideas have been Costa Rica, Utah /Colorado /Montana to do a ranch vacay since I've always wanted to see thar part of the country, or a cruise that goes all around Australia and New Zealand.

We went to Hawaii in August and you can actually go for a lot cheaper than you think. If you have any questions, feel free to FM me!

My cousin went to Bora Bora for her HM. It's expensive but she said it was totally worth it.

Same exact thing also! We also had to cut our budget a little, so we're thinking St. Lucia, Jamaica, or PR!

We are going on a 12 day Southern Caribbean cruise. That brings us to San Juan, St. Thomas, St Maarten, St Lucia, Barbados, and St Kitts. We are super excited!
