QOTD: Does your wedding date carry some sort of significance or sentimental value?
Honestly our date has no significance. We choose our date b/c FH is a teacher and we wanted to pick a date that was close enough to his time off for our honeymoon.

When we were 95% sure that we were going with our RH during our first visit, May 6th was one of 3 Sunday dates available for our room. The other dates were Mother's Day and Memorial Day weekend, which would run into obvious problems for most guests.
As it turns out, it's also the weddimg anniversary of one of FH's aunts, but my FMIL said we shouldn't do anything since it's about US, not them (and she's annoyed at her sister for other reasons )

Not at all! We asked them for saturday nights that they could give us the best deal. Worked out brilliantly, as I will be a June bride. :)

We originally picked September for our first wedding date but had to change it due to other family member getting married around the same time. We changed it to August which happen to be the anniversary for one of my cousins wedding lol..so it turns out the date and month we chose is a good luck date lol

I picked my date at random. I later found out that my older cousin , who I am close with and who's husband passed away, met her late husband on that date and it holds significance to her. I tool this as a very special and good sign form above!
