What type of ceremony are you having? For example, will it be religious,personalized yet structured or are you writing your own vows?
As much as I would love to write my own vows I think I would be too emotional to even get my words out LOL FH & I are not religious but we would like a personalized ceremony tailored to our personalites.

we are having a full mass at our church, so it's pretty structured. Though, we got to choose ther readings, music and vows we use.
I'm very excited should be really nice!

We're not having a religious ceremony. It will be personalized for us and short and sweet. I'd love to write our vows, but I just don't think we could come up with exactly what we'd want to say to one another. I'd like to personalize them, though, with our officiant so we are saying the things we want.

We're having our ceremony at the RH, so it'll be short and sweet with a few tear jerker moments.....my FH will also be making a vow to my two daughters....that will be very emotional for me.

Just a ceremony at the church but I am still throwing around writing our own vows. I am all for it but I don;t know how my husband feels about it.

We are having our ceremony at our RH. I am Roman Catholic, but raised by a RC mom and Greek Orthodox dad, FH is Jewish. We are incorporating pieces of each ceremony into ours. Additionally, I plan to ask a friend to read excerpts from letters FH and I will write to each other.

This is so sweet! That will be a nice touch. We are also doing ceremony at the RH, hopefully short and sweet. Still trying to pick readings...

We are having a 30 min ceremony at the RH. Neither FH or I practice religion so it will be pretty basic. I was thinking about writing vows but know I would not be able to speak them the day of I'd be crying too much! LOL

Neither of us are religious, so it will be 'spiritual'. It will take place at the RH and will be structured. We arent going to write vows but the reverend asked us what we love about each other and she will include those things in the ceremony. Thinking about doing something for my FHs son to include him :)

I see you are using Pastor April.. If you would like to write your own vows, but not sure if you would be to say them because of emotions or nervousness she can say them for you. She'll say something like.. 'These are your beautiful brides vows to..'.

30 minute ceremony at our hall. Actually, after I modified the sample ceremony I got from our officiant there is a chance it will be even shorter then 30 minutes
