QOTD 2-23-14
Morning ladies and thank you jenniepny for picking me to be the new bride of the week! After living with FH in our own apartment for 2 years, we had to leave for a whole bunch of reasons. We couldn't find a place in our budget, so we moved in with his parents. This was supposed to be a temporary living arrangement, but three years later we are still here
While living here has helped us save a lot and allowed us to plan our wedding, living with other people that do things completely different from you can be very difficult. Just a quick example...when I buy potatoes, I leave them on the counter...my FMIL puts the, in the refrigerator. One day I come home from work, and they are in the refrigerator. DONT TOUCH MY STUFF LOL
My question for you ladies is.....if you were stranded on a deserted island, would you rather be with your worst enemy or future in laws.
I would rather be stranded with my worst enemy because at least you could be mean and nasty to them lol
Have a great day ladies!

Haha, That's a really tough question. I am having a hard time adjusting to my FMIL. But I really can't stand my worst enemy. Like really can't stand her, and since I'll be marrying FH I guess it's better to get to know my in-laws, i think...lol

The thing is, his parents do treat me like I'm their daughter, but sometimes I really want to scream...we are a little to close for comfort at the moment haha

Ohh this is tough.. I love my in-laws but living with them may drive me nuts!! FMIL has a particular way she likes everything done (and im seeing that in my FH more and more) But i think I would choose to live with them. at the end of the day his family would do anything for me....

my worst enemy.. my FMIL would be nice to be on stranded island with because she is so selfless and is always looking out for everyone's best interest. but my FFIL is kinda selfish and demanding though and i don't think i could last more than a week with him on a deserted island

My FMIL is not the outdoorsy type but I would still pick being stranded with my future in laws over my worst enemy. They are like family to me. My FMIL would complain a lot though lol, when I say she is not outdoorsy, that is a great understatement

Lol this question cracked me up. I'm lucky to say my fils are a LOT of fun so I'd definitely choose them. During hurricane sandy (the closest thing I can think of to being on a deserted island) FH and I stayed with fils because they had a generator. We were there for a week and despite having terrible survivors guilt because my family was still without electricity on LI, we had a pretty good week together with his parents.
YES he asked me

My FMIL lives in VA and I really don't have the energy to hold on to a worst enemy so I guess I would be in a shelter.....LOL
