So, today is my 28th birthday. I was thinking about how I'm going to celebrate this coming weekend, which led me to this question:

How do you hope to celebrate your first anniversary as a married couple?

First, I plan to actually eat the top tier of our wedding cake. Lol. I also hope that we can spend the entire day together, which may be hard, since our first anniversary will fall on a Monday. I'm also considering saving our first viewing of our wedding video for our one year.

I am really hoping we go on a cruise to celebrate our one year anniversary. It's our favorite type of vacation & haven't been on once since 2011 :-/ THe actual day though I hope to just spend it together, watch our wedding video & maybe eat at Westbury Manor's restaurant.

I want to spend our first anniversary on a cruise or a tropical island. We plan to go away every year on our anniversary. It's the perfect time of year to get away bc were surrounded by cold weather for months!

But before we leave, I definitely want to eat the top of the cake. I dont know why, but I feel like it would taste good lol

We were actually just discussing this the other day. My mom was complaining that since she I'm getting married next year she can't go on another cruise until 2015. She's planning on going on either the allure or oasis around our first anniversary so we'll probably go then as well. Fh has only been on one cruise but he wants to go on one of the royal Caribbean ships next.

Happy birthday! We also hope to cruise to Alaska where he proposed which probably wont happen for financial reasons. Both FH and I want a honeymoon baby so I may or may not have a 2-3 month old little one spending the day watching our wedding video with us :)

Wow, I haven't even talked to FH about this yet!! You guys are ahead of the game! I definitely want kids soon after we get married, but haven't decided how soon. That would be an adorable pic, on your first anniversary, you, FH, and the little one

FH and I will hopefully go away for our 1 year anniversary. We usually go away sometime between feb-may so we can just move the trip up and celebrate somewhere in the Caribbean

Definitely. The food is PHENOM! I couldn't imagine not enjoying that every anniversary

For our first year anniversary i would love to just spend the whole day together..watching our wedding video and maybe have a party at my house..just some close friends and family..that would be the perfect day for me!

Our first anniversary will fall on a Friday, but since it's the day before July 4th, I'm hoping to be off from work that day! I'm sure I'll be going through the whole day thinking and probably saying things like, 'One year ago at this time, I was getting into the limo to go to the church, we were at this spot taking pictures,' etc.

FH also said he'd take me back to our RH that night for dinner. I couldn't think of a better way to spend our anniversary

I hope to just spend the whole day together and relax. Maybe go out to dinner or just order in and stay in our pj's all day watch movies, cuddle and watch our wedding video if available. That's one thing I want to do every anniversary is watch our wedding video.
Just relic on the past year and enjoy each other.

Due to my work schedule being a teacher we can't exactly take a trip for our anniversary nor can we go on a honeymoon right away.
We will probably end up doing a trip in late June to celebrate our wedding! Hopefully I won't be pregnant for that as we won't be using birth control once we get married!

We will hopefully have a little one (or triplets if I had my way)...probably spend he day poolside in the backyard and dinner at the crescent beach club...and wedding cake for dessert.
