It's Sunday Fun Day!

Today FH and I are going shooting out east. We are going with a group of friends and will be shooting shot guns. I am really excited to be trying something new.

My question of the day...

Do you and FH try new things/experiences? What have you and FH experienced 'new' together? Also, who plans your outings - you or FH?

I am the planner, hands down. If we want to do something, I make it happen. Just like going shooting today - one of my friends mentioned she wanted to go, FH said okay...and I did the rest.

FH is very laid back and a home body to boot. I'm the crazy one that always likes to be busy. When we lived in FL we used to do a lot of weekend trips (Miami, St. Augustine, Clearwater, Sanibel Island, etc.) and have gone to the Dominican Republic. We always like to try new places to eat. Since living in NY, we try to go into NYC a few times a year and see a show, have dinner, go to different museums, or just walk around.

I am hoping once we are married, we will be able to travel more. I have a huge bucket list that I need to start crossing things off!

I'm always the planner. I go online and google random things and then I'm like Eric look we gotta do this . It's been like this since the very beginning. The day after he asked me to be his girlfriend I was like let's go hiking at this waterfall in Conn. I would love to go shooting, where is this place?

Im really the one who loves doing something new and the FH could really care less to tell you the truth ..but i mean we do a lot of new things together and its a lot of fun ..but im more of the planner unless FH is planning something special for me ( birthday,anniversary....) but what both of us have been talking about is going to all the different baseball stadiums that would be so much fun...ive been to san diego and that was really nice but i would def. love to do that

I'm the planner and the adventure seeker, but I give FH a lot of credit because he smiles and goes along with it. We shared our first solo vacation, moved away from home(LI and Westchester to the Bronx, what's up!), and I make him try new foods which was the BIGGEST adventure for him and stress for me lol. FH only ate junk food and things he could cover with ketchup because that's all his mom made.

FH is also good at keeping me motivated because now he's starting to suggest things - the other day he mentioned we should go on a vacation soon. He won't plan it, or help me decide on a place, but he's helping

I'm the same as all you guys. FH really likes to try new things but he doesn't plan much. I can't say he never does because he does like to plan trips but for everyday stuff, it's mostly me.

FH has definitely been the one to open me up to new experiences, especially with food! I joke all the time that the reason I gained weight while we were dating is because he introduced me to all sorts of new stuff! (I'm now taking all that weight + some off for the wedding - 15 lbs down in a month and a half! only 8 more lbs to reach my goal!) He introduced me to Mexican and Cuban food, neither of which I ever would've tried before for fear of it being too spicy - but now I love it! He was the first person to take me to Boston - and I was the first person to bring him to Disney World. We went to my first NFL game on New Years Day this year. And we plan on doing Jamaica for our honeymoon, I haven't been but he has (and no there will not be any nude beaches for me lol I give you ladies credit that have gone but that's a big he** no for me!)

He's a much better planner than me. I gave him the task of doing the honeymoon because he knows what to look for and what to do. He knows what I like and dislike, so I'm not worried letting him run with that job

I think we both equal each other out.. I'm a bit more adventurous.. I've been skydiving, love traveling, etc. With that said, FH has jumped right on to exploring new things and sometimes comes up with ideas on his own.. I have a nice bucket list going (Sorry to my Pinterest ladies! Lol) so he is signing up to go on alllll of those with me!

hmmm I think im the organizer..... but as far as experiencing new things. IDK im afraid of every thing ........... BUt i think i push FH to do the things that I would love to do.

Great last question! I'm the planner, but we really haven't experienced anything 'new' together. I mean I've joined in on things that he's always done like road trips, Pearl Jam concerts (he's a huge fan) and he's gone to plays and disney world, things that I've always done.

We both like to get out and do things and try new things when possible. Together for the 1st time we've experieced snow tubing, parasailing, shooting at a gun range.

We are pretty much both huge planners, especially in our individual social circles... so because with my friends I'm always the one setting every thing up, it's REALLY nice that my fiance' does that kind of stuff & it's not all left on my shoulders. Plus he always has awesome, creative & fun things for us to do!! And on a budget too!

I am definitely the planner out of the two of us. Seems to be the trend among us. we do trips to a bunch of places; rhode island, mass, Connecticut, puerto Rico, bunch of places I love seeing new places and like Erika I definitely plan to do a bunch of traveling after we are married
