Happy Friday!!

What is the best gift you've given FH? And what is the best gift FH has given you (not including your engagement ring)?

The best gift I've given FH was for his 25th birthday. I surprised him with a trip to Yankees spring training. First I gave him a puzzle with a poem about how 25 would be fun. He then had a bunch of numbered gifts. He opened a matchbox airplane. Then big league chew gum, a Yankees shirt, and the Yankees spring training tickets, then he opened snowcaps, a Tampa bay lightning shirt, and lightning tickets. We went away for a long weekend. He was totally surprised & we had such a great time we went back the next year. We are missing it this year due to saving for the wedding. I can't wait to go back. We love it!

The best gift FH gave me was probably the first gift he ever gave me for my birthday. It was a jets teddy bear that he put diamond earrings on and a pair of jets tickets. It was very thoughtful and I loved how he put the earrings on the bear. He has bought me some really nice jewelry over the years and I love it all. I LOVE jewelry!

For him it's a toss up. I went all out for his 30th and threw him a surprise party with over 100 people-somehow was able to pull off the surprise. On the weekend of his birthday I took him to Top of the Rock, NBC Tour, dinner and we stayed overnight at a hotel in the city. He really really loved that. His favorite gift that I've watched him open though was a Groupon I bought him last Christmas for him to drive the 'dream car' of his choice at the track in Jersey. His eyes seriously lit up - it was awesome! He was like a little kid that day, I loved watching it!

As far as I go, he really is so great about buying me the most beautiful jewlery and tickets to plays and stuff for no reason. I think my favorite was when I was 21. He asked me what I wanted and I said to do something I haven't been able to do before, so he surprised me with my first trip to AC. He took me out to a nice dinner at Bobby Flay and gave me money to play the slots and drink legally for the first time! It was so much fun!!

A few years ago, I got him the original Nintendo, with all the best games. It really wasn't that expensive, but we loved playing together!

The best gift he ever gave me (probably even more than my ring) was my two puppies. He adopted them for me for my birthday 2 years ago, and I couldn't imagine my life without them!!
