QOTD 2/16/13

Good morning everyone! I have a bridal shower to go to today so today's QOTD is about showers... if you could plan an ideal theme for your own shower, what would you choose?

My shower is a surprise so I really have no clue what my theme is but if I was planning my own and could pick any theme, I would do a scrabble themed shower! I saw it on pinterest once and absolutely loved it. I love scrabble and the theme was just adorable! They have favors of bookmarks with scrabble images on them and during the shower, they had all of the guests glue words onto a keepsake scrabble board...so cute.

That sounds so cute!!! I think I would probably want a kitchen/cooking theme with purple as the color. Purple's my fave color but we're since our wedding is fall themed we're sticking with browns and oranges for the wedding. I'm hoping my maid of honor picks up on my hints about using purple for my shower! lol

I have no idea yet if anyone has even started planning one for me! I really dont care what the theme is as long as its not outside! I have been to so many outside showers on the patio during the summer and it always turns out to be the hotest day on record!

I actually know the theme of mine and its exactly what I would want it to be! Nautical! It was between that and a Victorian tea party, but I figured it would be too similar to my wedding. I can't wait to see how my mom, FMIL, and MOHs will decorate my shower!

No idea if anyone is planning one. Even though it wouldn't be during the fall I'd want to stick with the fall theme to match my wedding probably.

I am not big on themes so I wouldn't want a shower with a blaring theme per se. I like modern, chic and elegant. My mom and sister know me well and my bridal shower is exactly what I would have planned for myself, a champagne brunch with good food and no shower games!! LOL

I told my mom I just wanted a brunch - that was all I really cared about lol. I know they are doing a recipe book for me, so it's slightly cooking themed but not crazy so.
