* QOTD 2/19 *

Hey ladies!!!! I have been pretty busy this morning!!!! I finally had my hair trial!!!! I will post pics when I get them from my MOH later!!!!!

I am in one of my Best Friends weddings this coming August and she is having a destination wedding. I have to go to Sanibel Island, Florida for it. I'm very happy for her and I heard it is beautiful there!!!! I rather have a wedding here in NY where all of my family and friends can join me but my friend wants something small and more intimate!!!

So here's the question...........

Pretend you were having a destination wedding. Where would you want it and why?????

For me it would definitely be Hawaii........It has always been a dream of mine to go there someday!!!! That is why I chose Hawaii for our HM

well im sure not a shock but in disney..we tried to have it there at first but we were getting so many maybes from people we really wanted there we decided not to

Another shocking answer from me, but Greece! Obviously FH has family there, and it's his heritage, so it would mean a lot if we could. He was even brought there to be baptized, the only one of his siblings, so I'm sure he would have wanted to be married there too. And it would be a short ride for the HM!

Venice Italy!!! I haven't traveled that much in my lifetime (YET!) but I can say that was by far the most beautiful place I have ever been! That is also assuming money is not an option in this very hypothetical situation!

i would go to australia - to the great barrier reef! i was in sydney last summer but didn't get to see too much b/c i was working at the barrier reef was too far.

I agree...def. Austrailia! I was there for 3 months and LOVE every part of it! Even the air is much cleaner LOL. I can't wait till I can go back...but FH said only once we went everywehere else ... LOL>

The Philippines... most of my family from my mother side is there but I know the majority of my guest wouldn't be able to come especially the FIL's

we were actually going to have it in melbourne beach florida but there were so many obstacles that prevented us from having it there 9(i.e. turtle nesting season= no lighting on the beach, plan b $ucked in case of rain), but it would've been PERFECT. the CH would've been on the sand in front of the ocean with tiki torches, the reception on this tremendous ocean front deck... it was amazing... i'll post pics...

FH and I originally looked at booking a WDW wedding! I wanted so bad to get married at the wedding pavilion. However, it was even with his sister's employee discount AND using my disney vacation club points (almost as expensive as doing a big wedding here and for a LOT fewer people).

FH really wanted a big wedding, so I caved.....

ooh! good question!!

i'd wanna get married in Tuscany, Italy. We could walk to the church through town and have our reception with our close family and friends in a villa in the countryside, dancing and eating and fall asleep under the warm night sky! i've never been, but i really wanna go there someday!!

Scotland. We're doing a Scottish/Irish wedding with the kilts and everything. What i wouldnt give to actually have the wedding in a Scottish castle though!

Italy! FH's entire family is from Italy and has been in the USA for 30 years....when we got engaged that was everyone's first question, if we ever thought about getting married in Italy!
