there were a lot of reasons. but one that was important was when we first started dating, i became really sick. i had terrible breathing problems and i had to see a whole bunch of specialists, and get so many different tests, get my blood taken, get pricked by soooo many different things. it was TERRIBLE because i am terrified of needles and getting my blood taken. but he was there for every doctor visit, even though he didnt have to be. he went with me and held my hand through all of it. and thats when i knew he was the one. especially because at the time we were dating for maybe 3 months?
things were up and down for a while, I moved to boston, he stayed in NY and went into the academy, we broke up, but when I moved back to NY and we moved in together was the turning point in our relationship
It was right in the beginning, one night my dad had a heart attack and I didn't get home from the hospital until 11 at night, it was just me and my little sisters, my mom stayed with my dad. I called him just to talk and within five minutes he was at my house. Since we were 17 at the time and my parents didnt really know him, he wasn't allowed in the house when no one was home. I didn't know what to do with him there so he just pulled up two chairs on my front porch and sat outside and talked with me until 1 in the morning.
I knew it on one of our first dates. I just *knew*. I'd never even pictured getting married in my life but in the beginning I just knew he was the one. On the eve of my 21st birthday, he took me to Atlantic City. My birthday is in the summer, 6/28. On the ride down, I was FREEZING for some reason! He had the heat blasting in the car in the middle of summer to warm me up but I was still cold. He pulled over on the parkway and got a blanket out of his trunk. I had known it before that, but that was the moment that confirmed it. I don't even know why.
it was only after we broke up for like 2 months and i was seeing another guy that i realized that fh was really 'the one' -- strange but true
I knew VERRRRRRRRY early on...... but a moment that clinched it....was when I had my first panic attack in front of him (long history of having them) in PENN STATION and he was soooooooooooooooooo understanding talked me out of it.. got me on the train.. got me home... and was soo amazing with me!!!!!!! I was like WOW!!!!!!!

YES...after our first date i told my best friends that there was something about it and that im gonna marry this man .....
i knew i was going to marry FH before we were dating!!! haha but i really knew that he was the one bc when my dad found out he had cancer, FH was there for me and it meant a lot. throughout my dad's last 2 years, FH was there when i needed to cry(he used to let me blow my nose on his shirt...thats true love) and when my dad passed FH was crushed and helped out wherever he can...love him!!

This sounds cheesy but the first time I saw him I knew.
the first time we hung out. sitting outside my house on the car for over 4 hours talking about absolutely NOTHING and had a great time.

yes, i feel in love with him right away! after a few months i knew he was the one!
At one of his family parties. He was playing around with all of his little cousins and then just laughing and dancing with me and it just hit me that wow i love him
