Let's keep with the theme of Groundhog's day today and the 6 more weeks of winter...What is your favorite season? and are you getting married during that season? why/why not?
Just thought this question up on the fly.. had a totally different question planned out.. but what the h*e*l*l lol
SUMMER!!!!!! I am a summer girl through and through... sit me on a beach and leave me there to stay! We are getting married in the spring though (technically its still spring 5/20 lol) The main reason is, I could have picked between between fall spring and winter.... and winter is out lol and fall it can be too cold (for me anyway)... we coudn't do it during summer b/c FH is on a racing team that only races during the summer (weezy girl knows what I am talking about!) and they have tournaments on saturdays, and practice 2 times a week, so that makes it impossible to get married over the summer. So we compromised and did it as late in the spring as possible...

i love summer! Unfortunately FH builds pools so May/June/July/August wedding was out. But Summer is over September 22, so my wedding is the 17th, so techincally I'm getting married in the summer. We're not going on our honeymoon until October though.

My fav season is Spring, Fall, Winter - I don't do the summer, I don't like the heat!!!!
For getting married we needed to piggy back off a holiday weekend since FH is a teacher. I didn't want a winter wedding b/c I wanted it on the water with flowers in bloom and the summer was TOTALLY out, so we are doing late May and the first official weekend of summer, Memorial Day.

Any season except winter...I hate being cold.
So the wedding is fall, I guess that makes it my favorite season
But I do like Groundhogs Day...what I do find though is that regardless of whether or not he sees his shadow it's ALWAYS 6 more weeks until spring (which also happens to be my birthday)...what a lousy predictor of date arrival time. Hehehe

i loveeee fall, Temperatures are just right...I can straighten my hair without worrying about frizz but still have a lil tan left from the summer...love the leaves changing color...I think its perfect! Technically, we are getting married in fall, although everyone that I tell the date, they're like oooo a winter wedding, how nice! I like it tho bc one thing we did not want was to be hot on our wedding day. At least with our date, we know we won't be - just hope its not absolutely freezing

I LOVE THE SUMMER!!!! I LOVE HOT TEMPERATURES!!!!! I will be so Good if the whole year We woudl have a 85-100 Degree (I know it is crazy but I love itt!!!!!!)
Wedding will be around Sep-Oct I think... Because I've heard that weddings in the summer are more expensier....

I really like every season for different reasons. If I had to pick though I would say Spring. It used to be winter but not so much anymore (I'm just always so dam cold LOL).
Spring holds many reasons why I love it. My birthday, we go on the annual cruise every May, the weather is just pleasant, and now I have even more reason to love it because we will be having our wedding in the Spring! Just hope it holds true that April showers bring May flowers because I don't want rain! ::fingers crossed:: (though I don't want it to rain in April either for all our April 2011 brides!!!)

My favorite season is spring and fall. We booked a June wedding though because, I'm a teacher and couldn't take that much time off work. We also wanted warmer weather for an outdoor cocktail hour.
When you say your FH is on racing team, I'm guessing he's volunteer fireman? My FH used to race, but stopped bc it took up way too much time!

YUP, he is in FDNY, and volunteers for W Sayville/Oakdale VERY Time consuming!! UGH! lol

Fall!! I also LOVEEEE summer for the beach and being off.
I would love to get married in Sept/ early Oct. That is perfect weather!!!
Getting married in August. It was the only date for the place we wanted.
Fall is the best because of the following: weather, changing colors- so beautiful, FOOTBALL!, Thanksgiving, start of a new school year, apple picking, pumpkin picking. I love everything about fall!

I'm a spring lover. :) The allergies s.u.c.k but winter's too cold, summer's too hot, spring is a great inbetween.
I'm having a summer wedding b/c 7/10 is mine and FH's anniversary of our first date. (we became a couple 7/11) The price was awesome and I always wanted a wedding by the water. :)

Winter is my favorite season. I love the cold, snow, sledding, hot chocolate, everything involved. Yes, I'm getting married in winter.
I also love the Fall, but my allergies usually reek havoc on my body so a fall wedding would not have worked even though I really wanted fall colors.

i LOVE spring and summer, but for some reason, I didn't want a spring wedding and there was no way FH's sweat glands could handle a summer wedding. October, it is!

I love love love SUMMER!!!! i love hot warm weather..i love the sun..I could sit on the beach/poolside for hours! We chose June..because although i love summer...i didn't want to run the chance of having a very very hot day in July or August and my guests be uncomfortable

My favorite season is Fall and that was my original plan, to get married in late sept early oct BUT since i will most likely be working in a school as a speech therapist (i hope soon just waiting for a few call backs ) I would not be able to take off much and I want a long honeymoon So summer it is! Although I am not happy about it since i dont like the heat

I love spring and summer. Technically my wedding is a spring wedding according to the calanar but in RH land its still a winter wedding so woohoo I get the best of both worlds. I love spring and summer because it means YANKEE BASEBALL!!!

Summer is my favorite! I love to swim and go to the beach! But I would never want a summer wedding just for fear of melting in my gown... So I'm getting married in the spring!

I love Spring and Summer...I HATE the cold weather..so of course I wanted to get married in either the Spring or Summer...so yes I am getting married during one of my favorite seasons :)
