Happy Friday!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it's Friday already. Where has this week gone! Ok, now to get to the important stuff, the QOTD

1)I'm a big time horror movie fan. So I would like to know what horror movie really scared the crap out of you?

and wedding related

2)What wedding horror stories have you heard that have made you worry about your own wedding?

1)When I saw Paranormal Activity I couldn't sleep at all that night!

2)I was reading the BRB and I saw a bride that got married in the same church that I'm going to be getting married in so I read her review. I almost cried. It was the deacon at the church that married her and she talked about how he got her name wrong, he never called up her mom for the unity candle (she had to gesture to her mom to come up), he had this whole long speech about his gallbladder surgery, and then at the end he never even said I know pronounce you man and wife! When we met with the priest I told him that he's the only one allowed to do our ceremony, not the deacon.

Oh and I also heard one where the florist went MIA and girls went without flowers on their wedding!

I'm a HUGE horror movie fan, but I've yet to see one that really scares me at all. FH loves them but is a huge baby! We went to see Paranormal Activity 2 and he covered his eyes the whole basement scene at the end and had to ask me to describe what happened. I'm still looking for one to actually scare me! (Hey that would be a good G2G! Do a horror movie marathon night!)

I'm SO nervous about forgetting to bring things home with me from the RH (toasting flutes, cake topper, channa plaque). I'm also really worried about the florist going MIA since reading some reviews. If my priest got my name wrong I'd flip! ESPECIALLY since he's known me since I was 12!

The Shining... There's a few though. I get scared very easily, I'm a wimp.

2)What wedding horror stories have you heard that have made you worry about your own wedding?

I don't know, that one Yvonne just said is pretty terrifying. No flowers is pretty bad and I would be PISSED if they said my name or FH's name wrong. Mainly because they said my name wrong at my college graduation.

1) I'm not a huge horror fan.... so with that said--the original Amityville Horror scaresssss me! Especially since it happened on Long Island! Creepyyyy!

2) My only 'scary' stories that I've heard are that at a friend's cousin's wedding--her Father walked her down the aisle and then had no where to sit!!! Guests all sat in the front section where her immediate family should be seated... and her Mother was waving her Father down to sit with her (a few sections back)....absurd. I can't imagine that.... I'd totally stop the wedding and adjust the seating.... but that's just meeee!

I did go to a wedding where the priest said the Groom's name wrong.... it was especially funny because they have been going to that church for their whole lives & are very involved. I guess any thing can happen!

I love horror movies! They dont really scare me though. Ill get creeped out or I may jump if something pops out but nothing where I have nightmares. I have loved them ever since I was a lil girl. I would always ask my mom to get the Freddje movies lol I think my 1st scary movie was Poltergiest (spelling ?) and she sai,d I would go around the house saying 'They're herrrrreee' lol

A wedding horror story that I recently read in Cosmo (or 1 of those magazines) was a couple rented a party bus for themselves and the BP to be taken to the ceremony. The driver runs a red light and crashes. Luckily bride and groom survived but the bestman died. So sad and so careless of the driver. Ive also heard other stories of other wedding day accidents where the outcome of the bride and/or groom isnt so lucky. These stories freak me out because its so sad and tragic. God Forbid anything like this was to happen!!

ANd as far as Wedding Horror Stories,

I heard that the bride and groom had to take money from there envelopes to pay the DJ and the hall!!

I want an extra 5k left over so after my engagement party its NO MORE SPENDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oooohh nice one...there are so few horror movies that actually scare me, but The Hills Have Eyes was beyond anything I could stand! UGH.

My sister's wedding started almost an hour late because her (now-ex)MIL was late - she decided to get her hair done at the very last minute And I've read reviews of FH about girls who had terrible MD and BA help the day-of which would piss me off but I think those are my two worst-case horrific scenarios

1) I had to watch the first paranormal activity a year after it came out in complete daylight. FH is begging me to watch 2 & 3 but I already feel like my apartment is haunted.. imagine if I watch that? I'll probably pee my pants.. ugh! With that said, I do like the 'being scared' feeling during the movie... I just hate the after when I have to come to real life!

2)My biggest wedding horror would be one of my vendors not showing up.. I would flippp out!

OMG! This just reminded me of that BIGGG story all over LI when the flower girl passed away because of a drunk driving accident on the wedding day?! SO SAD!

yes that was so terrible. brand new actually wrote a song about it on one of their albums. i think it was the limo driver who was drunk?! jerk.

Hellzz no! The wedding would have went on without her. I can see if she was late for something that wasnt her fault.. like getting lost or traffic but bcuz u decided to get your hair done? Shhhhh!!!!!!!tttt lol

that's what i said!! i was kind of bullied into being my sister's MOH (another terrible experience, i was 16 *** did i know lol) and that meant me running around the church & up and down the aisles trying to talk to her now-ex hubby. no one knew where the mom was and she wasn't answering her phone so everyone kind of assumed something terrible had happened....until she strolled in an hour late. the nerve of some people!

That was horrible! FH was a volunteer fireman at the time and was on scene for that accident. He said it was probably one of the worst things he's ever seen, especially seeing the mother holding her deceased child. So sad

1.I'm a horror film buff. Not much scares me in movies, but oddly enough, Contagion and Open Water are prob the 2 scariest films I have seen. Oh, and I LOVE zombie flicks, but really have a fear that they exist (not like walking dead, but 28 days later virus type) so I cant watch these when I will be sleeping alone that night

2. I heard sooo many stories of brides going to pick up their dress and arrive at an empty store front, florists never showing up etc.. 1 friend paid in full for photography and they went bankrupt after wedding so she never got her thank yous, pictures, video or money! Another friend has been married 3 years and her photo company STILL has not completed the album.
I make sure EVRYHTHING that is said, is put into writing and i save every single minor email with my vendors

I couldn't even get through that movie! It didn't scare me, but I found the double-rape scene with the guy having a gun on a baby TOTALLY unnecessary and disgusting. Needless to say, I turned it off after that.

Not many horror films scare me, but the ring really creeped me out because i was watching it in Florida and there was a yellow porch light that flickered as I was watching it. FH loves zombie movies and shows but after we watch one he always seems to have nightmares of zombies eating him...lol.

2. I am in agreement with everyone, if one of my vendors didn't show I don't know what i would do. I have a frowns from college who posted on fb that she just got her pictures 3 years after the wedding, i would kill someone. One of my dads cousin invited us to his wedding when I was like 9 the food was terrible so my uncle went and picked up pizza for us kids, i would be mortified, but that I know wont happen because I have tasted the food and there are ao many choices.

that's the reason i couldn't deal with it....i actually closed my eyes for the rest of the movie after that. couldn't turn it off because i was stuck in DC with a bf-at-the-time and a houseful of guys who thought it was hilarious.

I hate scary movies I hate that feeling. Although I watched paranormal activity after being forced and was more scared after then during.

My wedding fears are vendors not showing up or showing up extremely late that things have to get delayed.

I had a nightmare that it was my wedding day and I forgot to get my dress cleaned and altered. I had to wear it with little tears in it and dirty and too long
I like horror movies but they ALL scare me. I still think about mothman prophecies to this day... so scary
