QOTD 22511

When do you plan on starting a family after marriage, how many children do you wan, and do you have names picked??

FH is ready to make some HM babies, but I want to wait until we buy our house and get settled in. Our parents can't push us enough for them to have grandchildren but I just want us to be financially settled first. I'd like 3 kids, FH wants our boy to be named after him but the poor thing would be the Teddy IV so I'm not so thrilled about that! haha. And for a girl I change my mind all the time. I like Aaliyah, Jailyn, & Nevaeh (but I gave that name to my friend and she just named her daughter that).

I need a more permanent job before we discuss children. I do not want to wait too long, but with the education world right now...neither of us have permanent jobs and the near future is not looking good. Ideally I would like to be prego by our 2nd anniversary. We talked about having 3 kids and we can only agree on girl names: Grace Ann and Madison Kathleen. That's all we have right now.

We dont want to wait too long...We are relocating in about a year to West Palm Beach Florida, so I don't want to have a baby until we find the perfect home there. We really really want a baby girl first and if we do I think we would name her 'Mia Sophia' and if it's a boy I have no clue.

We have a baby fever!!!!!!!!

We plan on waiting until my fiance becomes a U.S. citizen to start a family which will take 3-5 years. Its perfect because we need us time since we've done long distance so long.

I want 5 kids and he wants 4, so we decided to aim for 4 and then see if we're up for 5.

I really really want to name my little boy Tarzan! My fiance is fine with it, but the rest of my famly is like W T F! hehehe

Philip (sleeping Beauty... not too crazy about the name, but I LOVE how my fiance says it with his British accent! )

i'm getting old and i'm waiting. i want to have some peace and quiet after the wedding before the madness happens so i figure 2 years after we'll start working on it. no names but probably 2-3 kids (I hope they're tall like him!)

We are soooooo ready!! We talk about names all the time... 1st boy will be Michael Peter (after FH), Sofia Kathleen and Rebecca Danielle for the girls. Still debating over 2nd boy name - good thing we have some time!

FH and I agreed that we would really like to have a house before trying or at least close to buying a house before trying. Sometime within the next 2 years. All the money that we get from the wedding is going straight towards the house saving fund and not being touched.

As far as how many, we both would be happy with 2 but we really want 3 (preferabbly 2 boys and a girl).

And as far as names:

Boys - Chase, Colin, Evan, Nicholas

Girls - Sadie, Abbie, Melanie, Annabelle

We plan to have babies any time after the wedding~~ We are both very excited to be parents and start a family. I would be ok with one baby. He wants 2. So we will prob have 2!
We have boys names we love, but no girls names at this time!!

FH wanted babies like yesterday. I really want a baby too but trying to wait out the summer after we get married so I can party and enjoy the summer. We also need to finish renovating our house!!!

As much as I want babies NOW, I think we're going to wait. I'm going to be almost 28 when we get married, and although I'd love to have kids before I'm 30, I still have a lot of world travelling to do and I'd love FH to have a more solid career. (you know, so i can be a stay-at-home mom, at LEAST part time)

We don't want to say that we're 'trying' so we are going to 'stop preventing' on our 1 year anniversary and see what happens from there. I always wanted 3 kids, FH wants 2 but says that if we have 2 girls he will want to try for a boy lol. We have one definite boy name and one definite girl name - Aidan James and Sophia Patrice. Then we have a bunch of others we like...

I always said I wanted to wait a few years after getting married before having kids but the more I think about it I want to have one! I talked to FH and we (well I) decided that we will start trying to have one after a year of being married. I would love to have a house first but things always work out for the best so whatever happens happens! As far as names go I have no clue lol

We started already lol...we have an 18 month old beautiful little bou named Braydon peter and we want another one soon after the wedding happens

i want to be done having kids by the time im 30 and im 25 so i have a little less then 4 years to pop out 1 or 2 more kids

Current names we like are:

FH and I agreed that we're going to start, Godwilling first thing in 2012 (January-ish), and see how it goes from there. We want a few months to enjoy being newlyweds, and then take it from there. I have complete baby fever and I think FH is starting to feel it also

As far as names - for girls we love the name Delila and a few others ....Boys, no idea :(

FH and I agreed on this as well...

We want to have 2 -3...names are still up in the air.
