My question for today is at what moment did it hit you that you were getting married to your FH? Did it hit you as soon as you got engaged or at another time?

We we're on a a cruise when we got engaged so somewhere between coming home and telling everyone and booking the RH. I can't remember an exact moment...

Is it strange that it still hits me sometimes??

I think for me it really hit when we chose an RH. Then when we went to put down the deposit, it was like 'Ok this is real now.....'

i was going though a lot of personal cr@p and FH told me something along the lines of 'i will always love you no matter what' so i knew his love was unconditional and that i would be marrying him

there are a lot of times when it hits me....everytime we go to look at 'wedding stuff' but i don't think it will REALLY hit me until i'm in my dress, walking down the aisle with my dad and staring at my FH....i get goosebumps just thinking about it lol

It stil hits me sometimes.... we are starting to think about our honeymoon and its crazy that we are thinking about a time AFTER the wedding... :)

The first time it hit me... was when I had to pay my RH payment and my photographer payment on the same day! I felt like paying for the stuff means it is REALLY happening..

I would say when we announced our engagement at the Christmas party for her family and we were all being congratulated and they made me feel part of the family...

It hit me when we started looking at halls, Like many of you said, it still hits me everyone once in a while. It will be at random moments too.

i would say after booking the church and RH and every time we do something wedding related. sometimes i still don't think it's real

ITA it was when we booked our hall.....i was standing in the room thinking 'omg this is where im getting married...wait, im getting married?'

and it does still hit me every now and then, like in the middle of the work day, or when iwake up in the morning...its nice

It hit me when people starting sending cards and gifts and I wasn't the bridesmaid helping out with addresses, I got to keep them. I don't mean this in a selfish way I just had this wow....this is really happening feeling..the night we got engaged is a blur
