Was it love at first sight?
I mean with FH, not your dress or your RH!


funny thing is.. i would say no. lol I was just out of a bad relationship, and he approached me (we have the same groups of friends) and started talking to me and told me he liked me blah blah blah.. i told him thats great, but save it lol.. we started going on dates and a few months later we became official... then a month later i wanted to break it off... haha,... he sent me roses to my job for our 1 month anniversary that day (i totally forgot! BAD GF!) and honestly, that was what gave him his second chance.... 8 years later, we are engaged! lol

I don't know if I'd say love, but certainly crush at first sight.

First thought I had when he was standing there with a GINORMOUS bouquet of flowers (it took 3 vases and they still didn't all fit) was 'wow, he's CUTE!' Glad I still feel that way

Technically the first time we met we were both we our ex's - so we weren't really 'looking'

The time after that when I saw him - i wasn't really in a place to care (we were both single) so I didn't look at him that way.

The third time we actually hung out - I liked his friend and he was scared of me. lol

The fourth time we really hit it off - I knew I liked him and was def attracted to him but at the time I had such a bad outlook on things that i wasn't thinking 'oh wow - he's the one.' But I was SUPER excited the next day when we went out on our first date, there I kinda realized 'hey, this one's pretty special'

Lust maybe, not love. He's been friends with my cousin for years so I knew he was a sweet, good guy, but we were both in different relationships at the time.

Years later when we met up again, both single, we drunkenly hooked up lol. And then As we started to hang out and get to know each other better, lust turned to like, which turned to really like, which turned to I think I'm starting to love this guy, which turned into, 'Yup I love this guy'. Good thing he was brave enough to say it first. i had been bursting to say it too him but was scared of the reaction I would get.

I dont think there is LOVE at first sight... U cant LOVE w/o knowing a person.... I believe in CRUSH or ATTRACION... But not love....

As soon as I met my FI, I got a BIG crush and started feelin that like 'hmm.. I like him....' But after i got to know him, then I LOVE HIM....

Yes! Of course, we didn't love each other that first second, but we BOTH felt like this was something special and different on our first date.

Our first date lasted 8 hours!!! And we still had sooo much to talk about! We were both so comfortable with each other. He told me he knew the first date that he was going to marry me. I definitely pictured us getting married right away too. We both fell HARD and we fell fast!!

same exact story but 6 years later we were engaged.... my FH is such a hopeless romantic

Our story is pretty similar to Weezygirl's.

First time: I was working at the bagel store in his shopping center and he would order lunch everyday. We didn't see each other like that. I think we were both dating someone at the time. 'Can I take your order?'

Second time: I was hosting karaoke at a bowling alley and I recognized him and invited him down the following week. I think the attraction started for him there. I was being friendly. I was dating the security guard at the bowling alley (yes a security guard at the bowling alley). Turns out I got cancelled. FI came down and I wasn't there.

Third Time: Ran into each other at Sports plus. He invited me to the bar after my friend and I went through the haunted house. Exchanged e-mails.

Fourth Time: 2 months of no contact I decided to go to the bar at sports plus to see if they were there (him and his friends were regulars). I was single for about a year and a half at the time (had a rough break up with the previous guy obviously.) FI showed up and after talking with him for a while, I knew that I had feelings for him. He was different from other guys I dated. (Obviously because I wasn't going to settle until I found the right guy). We dated for two weeks and made it official Christmas Day. Now its been four years and we are engaged. He really is the best guy I have ever had a relationship with!! I think we knew subconsciously we were meant for each other, but the time needed to be just right!

Technically, No. I was dating his friend at the time. And I thought he was the biggest D-Bag EVER!!

But apprarently, it was lust at first sight for him.

It took about 3 years for us to go out on a date, which neither one of us thought would actually turn into anything. And we've been together ever since that first date almost 4 years ago.
