In-Laws are very sweet........its the extended family that can get a bit weird at times.....

LOVE LOVE LOVE. FMIL and I are very close... we email, talk on the phone, text message, go shopping, she goes with me for my hair trials, make up trials. I can easily say I feel as comfortable with his parents as I do with my own! FMIL has been included in every aspect of the planning... I am very lucky, as the relationship with my Mother hasn't always been what you would call a traditional mother/daughter relationship to say the least. I have found in FMIL things that I had been missing in a mother/daughter relationship.... And it's great because she only has sons, no daughters. Sorry to sound all gushy, but I just really love his family. And he gets along great with mine.

Love my FIL and his girlfriend (pseudo MIL). Have only met my real MIL once, but she is really nice.

Love my FMIL and FSIL, but I can do without FBIL.

The funny thing is, I was friends with FBIL and that is how I met FH, but then he got married and is now a selfish SOB.

I love my future in laws.
Unfortunately, him Mom passed over 10 years ago. I miss out on that relationship. But he has four brothers and a sister that are just wonderful!
He's Dad is great!!
