Have you been staying organized during your wedding planning process? If so, how? What are some tips for some unorganized brides?
I stay organized with my exploding wedding binder! My cousin who is also getting married gave me one and it has been a lifesaver. I am able to keep all of my ideas, contracts, business cards, you name it in the allotted vendor folder and has made life so much easier when needing to go back and check something. I also have a wedding folder on my macbook which has some important files in it such as guest lists, ideas, links to favorite sites, etc. I am also a list-aholic where I constantly feel like I am making to do lists and checking them off or writing lists of other lists I need to make, it helps keep my thoughts in some type of order!
My biggest tip for someone who may be unorganized is to seriously just spend 20 minutes putting everything in some type of order, it will save you tons and tons of chaos later on.

Right after i got engaged i bought a binder and decorated it with pictures and stickers and made sections for each of my vendors. i am able to keep all my contracts nice and neat. and basically use it to keep track of budgeting, any idea or if i see pics in magazines i'll cut them out and put them in their appropriate section. Its a great way for me to stay organized!

OMG I have 3 binders haha. One that is just filled with page protectors and is just used for things ill pul out of magazines. The other two I use for contracts, business cards, budget, etc. I also have a lilly pulitzer monthly calendar that i used to keep track of all wedding related appointments and payments.
Being organized is such a great feeling!
I'd be interested in hearing everyone elses ideas too!

I have so many books and haven't gone crazy organizing yet. I NEED to though being that we are working with vendors from the Dominican Republic. I have a folder on my email though.... LOL as a lot of my correspondence has been through there.
I have a wedding binder and I'm armed with a 3 hole puncher LOL. I am able to keep all my contracts neat and in order. I also printed up a spread sheet to keep track of my payments for the bigger vendors (venue, photographer, florists, dj etc) that I can fill in as I go. I also have an envelope in the binder that I keep all the receipts in.

I have a binder, with different sections in it. I have all the copies of contracts, receipt of payments. I also have a budget spread sheet in the font. I like being organized cause I wanted to be able to just reference what I need to and not hunt for it.

I use a huge blue 'my something blue' accordion folder. I made a section for each vendor along with a honeymoon tab and gifts from/for people. For every vendor I see, I throw all their information in the appropriate pocket of the folder. When I've made a final decision on which vendor to use, all the other possiblities get tossed in the trash which is a great feeling. Also, I go through my bridal magazines and tear things that I think are good ideas or inspirational, then I toss the magazine. I can't stand clutter. Clutter will drive an organized or unorganized bride insane, so avoid it at all costs!
This is where I start getting nuts. I have a whole folder on my work computer that I update throughout the day, then I upload it onto a jump drive and sync it to my personal computer lol. I also have a 'check list' on my phone and printed out that I study every day.
I'm really going to have to find a hobby after my wedding is over haha

I really should start getting more organized. I have a bride book that has folder pockets that I just shove all my contracts into I think I should start a spreadsheet or something so I can keep track of payments though.

I bought this binder to help with wedding planning off of Amazon. I literally have not used it once. We put some plastic protectors in it and just use it for contracts. My FH keeps a running tab of all deposits and payments. Thats the extent of our organization!

Yes!! I'm an organized person to begin with, but if I didn't keep all of this stuff together I would go insane! I have one big binder with page protectors in it and dividers where I have it broken down by vendor with all the contracts and information, then a section for extra things we have already purchased so I can easily see how much we've spent. FH thinks I'm crazy, which I am, but any time he needs to see something, he knows exactly where to look!!

I have a ridiculously good memory, so I manage to remember most things, which is how I keep everything organized, but I've also started keeping a binder full of cards (I use baseball card holder to keep them organized) and quotes and all other information together.
Best tip I can give for staying organized is to keep everythig together either in a binder or a box. If you have everything scattered, you're more likely to lose something that you may need.

I have a bridal planner book thing that I have bought so far for all the girls in my life getting married so I was so happy to buy it for myself!! I use that and my knot app, I check back and forth between both and keep track of things that way. My bridal planner has folders and budgeting sheets. I'm not a very organized person but I take pride when I can be.

I have spreadsheets on my mac for a major checklist, and an expense sheet keeping track of my vendors, the info and payment schedules. I also have a master calendar in a binder for appointments and the binder holds contracts and magazine ideas
