As I sit with my in laws to be I thought what a perfect topic for my last question.
What is everyone's relationship with their soon to be in laws?
Mine is hit or miss.... Today is okay but when we first met he hadn't spoken to his family in quite some time... Don't get me wrong I love them but their tends to always be drama surrounding them... It's true what they say, you can't choose your family....

It's a weird relationship with the inlaws. I try and be as nice as possible and stay out of a lot of things, but sometimes that backfires as well lol

My FH has a rocky relationship with his dad. He hasn't talked to him in a really long time. I like his mom though, we get along. She's definitely different than my family but nothing bad

I am very lucky to have great future in laws. There was a period of time FH and I weren't together and they never judged, still kept in touch with me and I still went out with his sister every so often. They have always been supportive of us as a couple but also supportive of both of us individually. I am very grateful for such great people..

I Love my inlaws & they all love me. It was a huge honor when FH & I were asked to be godparents to his brothers child. I love my FSIL she is like my older sister and like a best friend. I had a great relationship with his mom but unfortunately she suffered a brain aneurysm in June2012 and is now in a rehab facility (luckily the facility i work at)...we just have a different kind of relationship now. Future FIL has his moments... but it is what it is :)

My relationship with my future in laws is ok..we aren't super close and they are nice to my face; but sometimes i feel like they compare me to my fiancé's brother's new girlfriend.
