QOTD 3-20

In my house there's an ongoing joke about me being an animal hoarded lol I'm totally a crazy cat lady. Here's the story...When FH and I got together I was living in an apartment in Albany where I couldn't have pets. My last year there I talked FH into getting a cat and keeping him secret. FH didn't have any pets when he was growing up and I guess I never mentioned the fact that I had 27 cats at one point along with some other pets. When we moved back to Long Island my mother was sick and after her passing we took in her dog and 2 cats along with my cat. After that I added 2 more cats and a hedgehog. He now tells me I'm cut off and it's either him or more pets haha.

This brings me to my question, What about you did your FH not realize he was getting into or vise versa?

Hahaha I would definitely say FH didn't know about my animal obsession (i will have a legion of goats and hairless cats one day).

FH's family always tell me I didnt know what I was getting into when we do tomato sauce (making sauce for the entire year for the whole family) every august. They're definitely right that I didnt know but I love it all the same

I just watched a YouTube video of one getting a bath. That is the cutest thing EVER I need one!!!!!! This may be silly, do their spikes hurt? Lol

they prick a little and then the area tends too itch. Honestly they're not the best pet. You really have to interact with them as much as possible (my animals make that hard for me) and then sometimes they still don't get comfortable. The bath videos are so adorable but yet mine just poops the whole time he's in the bath haha.

I had to think about this question and i figured it out lol

My FH did not realize how much I like to go out to eat in restaurants, try new foods and my love for chinese food....in other words i barely cook Im more of a buy it from costco and warm it up girl. What makes it cray is he comes from a family that makes everything from scratch. and i didnt realize that about him.

I have started cooking more now that we live together. Im making the effort to cook and make things at home.
