Haha I LOVE this question! My SSB is that I love watching Dr. Phil. I DVR it every day, and when I have time after work, I sit down and watch it. I listen to his advice when it can pertain to me. FH thinks I'm insane for loving Dr. Phil so much, but I really think that he's good at what he does. LOL

As for the SSB, I'm not sure if I have any - maybe I do and I just don't consider them as 'single' or they're not secret? I guess vegging out on a Saturday while FH is at work counts?
As for the favorite part of LI, I would have to say the beaches and Ocean Parkway/Robert Moses Causeway. There's just something so calming about the scent of ocean water in the air. I drive there whenever I need to calm down. Luckily it's like 2 seconds from me too :)

My SBB is just being lazy. I love when no one is home & I can just relax with a blanket, a cup of tea, catch up on DVR or read, and just veg.
My favorite thing about LI is going to Islanders games. Once they move to Brooklyn I will seriously be devastated. I cant even think about it.
You should definitely venture into Brooklyn to see then at least once. The arena is really nice! And you can take the lirr right to it.

hmmmmmmmm my SSB is pore picking. SO GROSS. I'm pretty Type A and dirty pores drive me nuts! I guess it's a control thing. FH HATES IT! Lol oh well, we all can't be perfect.
My favorite memory of long island: every time one of my parents got a new car as a little kid we used to drive down ocean parkway with the windows down. Now as an adult, my FH and I drive down ocean parkway all the time; for good days, to clear our head on a bad day...just anything. Sadly, since Sandy hit, our favorite parkway is closed :(

Towel time! Hahaha I do this all the time and I never called it anything.. It drives FH crazy bc I don't towel myself down when I get out if the shower, I just wrap myself up in a towel and my hair in a towel and sit around or check my iPad or sit on the bed and stare into nothing... He's like why don't you towel yourself down and just get dressed? I'm like bc I like it this way...
But that's not my SSB!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE sleeping in late and FH is SUCH a morning person, so sometimes ill tell him I had a really busy day off (I'm off on Wednesdays) and even though I'm usually telling the truth sometimes I really just sleep in and stay in pajamas and eat junk for breakfast and watch dumb tv and cuddle on the couch with our dog.
And what I love about Long Island? It's my home! I love being a 'south shore girl' (even though I work on th north shore) .. I love being so close to the city and just a drive away from the vineyards and apple picking and all the good seasonal stuff we have!

SSB - I narrate what I'm doing when I'm alone sometimes I sing-talk what I'm doing a la Marshall from HIMYM. What can I say, sometimes I wish life was like a musical and we could all just break into song!
One of m favorite things about LI is something another girl mentioned, there are so many secret hidden parks all over the place! There's always something new to explore, and the beach is never far away.
