Well first and foremost Happy Thursday!!! Here is today's question....
Where did you meet your FH? And when did you know he was 'the one'?
I met fh at a bar in Center Moriches that has since burned down. I was there with a few friends in the early evening and he walked through the door. I told my girlfriend I was totally going to make out with that boy later! Lol
I knew he was the one shortly after we met believe it or not. We we at a friends house, we slept over and awoke to snow outside the window on the big pine trees, we were just snuggling and i just thought to myself...I think i love this boy bc i could totally see spending the rest of my life with him!

Then all of a sudden a hand touches my shoulder, as I turn I see it is the marine that gave me the half smile that was in front of the Applebees. We stop and he proceeds to ask me, 'Do you mind if I take a picture with a beautiful girl in Times Square.' Obviously, I melting 1. - because of the uniform, 2. - because it was sweet.
So the rest is history!! From that moment I knew that he was special.
We hung out for the rest of the night and swapped phone numbers. After he left NY, we kept in touch while he was stationed at Camp Lejeune. I made trips to him and as did he. When he finished his active service, HE MOVED TO NY FOR ME!

One of my old friends suggested that I talk to him, said he was a very sweet and funny guy. I wasn't looking for anything serious at that time, so I figured it wouldn't hurt. We started chatting for a few days (hours at a time) and then set a date for Friday, 8/22. We decided to meet in a very public place lol - Times Square across the street from the Duane Reade. As I walked towards him I already knew it was him and we were both smiling ear to ear...I called him and said 'can you find me in the crowd??' even though I was like 10 feet away from him.
When we finally were next to eachother - he gave me the BIGGEST and BESTEST hug ever! I felt like I wanted to stay in his arms forever . We then went to dinner, and then spent like 3 hours by a park listening to music. He started singing a song from both of our nationalities, and I honestly had butterflies everywhere. I knew then that I met someone really special, and ever since then we've been inseparable. Within a few days of knowing eachother, he basically moved in w/ me, and the rest is history. He's my everything <3.

we met, believe it or not, on francis lewis blvd. 6 years ago cruising the blvd was the cool thing to do at night and we had mutual friends so we would all meet up and we were introduced.
I knew he was 'the one' when he stuck around through some hard times I went through in my life that most guys would have walked away from and he didnt judge me for my past.

FH and I had so many run ins before we actually started seeing eachother. We were first introduced at his brothers (who were my friends at the time) going away party. Instead of saying 'hi how are you' I was greeted with a giant smack to my booty! I was crying it hurt so bad my bf at the time just laughed when i couldnt sit. (what an @$$! ) Anyways the next we met again on a baseball field where i smacked him with a bat, I felt it was only fair. (He was in the begining stages of his divorce and he wasn't interested in girls like me at the time.)
We didnt talk or see eachother for another 2 years. Then July 4th 2008 he was on AIM using his bro's screen name we started talking and then he proceeded to stalk me on myspace. He'd ask me to hang out I came up with EVERY excuse i could to avoid it. Until one night my best friend Melanie asked me to hang out, FH msgs me and says im messed up because I'd hang out with his brother but not him. You can imagine how confused i was, I later found out from mel that we were going to hang out with his brother. Later that night we would up at FH's appartment...while he was there with another girl. But apparently they were just friends. I gave him my number and said if he still wanted after seeing me we could chill. The next night we went out on our first date...movies at his place which was where we had our first kiss.
I knew he was the one instantly.... But learning from my past i'd never tell him that. It was just this feeling i had when we were together..it felt right. I love my Hubs. :)
