So.. your bridal party...

who is in it and why?

I am having 6/7 girls

#1 - Has been my friend since i was in kindergarden and her family might as well be my 2nd family.
#2 - Friend since 2nd grade.. can't imagine my wedding w/o her
#3 - my sister
#4 - FSIL
#5 - Sorority pledge sister - such a good friend
#6 - Sorority sister/dance teamer - hahaha dance teamer hahaha..
#7 up in the air lol

2 FG's (my 2 god brothers daughters)
1 RB (my god brothers son)

FH has 1 Best Man, 5 GM, and 1 JR GM.

Um today is the 11th right? Either you're confused with the dates or I am lol.

Our bridal party is huge but I think a lot of brides on here are the same in that.

My MOH is my sister and I have my 7 closest friends and my FSIL as bridesmaids.

FH has been friends with his group since forever, so I gave in to the large bridal party mostly on his behalf, he has his brother as BM and then 7 closest friends and my brother.

I forgot to add my FG and RB's who are just the cutest!!!! I babysit them and have since forever. They also are very close with FH. They are 3 siblings, 1 FG (will be 6yrs old) and 2 RB's (8 and 2)

8 Girls

1- MOH - my sister (self explained)
2,3,4- My first cousins
5- My bestfriend from of 20years
6 FH's cousin (who is also my other bff)
7,8 FH's other cousins who I love as if they were my own.

FH has 13 groomsmen however I didn't think it was necessary to add in people in just because I need even #s. Therefore 2 or 3 BM will have to walk in with 2 GM

6. College Roomate and one of my closest friends... she is getting married a month b4 me and im in hers too
7. College friend- my fun friend, we went to spring break together, Vegas, she is the friend who is always up for ANYTHING!!... Always a great time with her

Ok lets see...Majority of my bridal party doesnt even know yet...
MOH: Best friend since 7th grade...we grew apart for a while but I realize she is one of the true friends that I have
BM #1 Friend of mine and Shawn's since college, she is a really good friend who is always there for me no matter what (If the girl can take me to the doctor when I break my neck and listen to me honk like a goose bc of the drugs i was on, I call that a true friend
BM #2: My fathers best friends daughter who I have known since I was a baby...We dont talk much but this is one of those, I have to have her in it kind of things
BM #3: My youngest cousin, i love her like a sister
BM #4: My other cousin, I wasnt sure if I was going to include her, but she is my family and I am not willing to completely destroy whatever family I have left...
Junior BM: Shawns younger half sister...I have to include her in the party, I dont want to have to listen to his mother complain and whine about it...

Right now I have 2 MOHs (one maid and one matron). Both have been my close friends for years.

2 of my BMs are really close friends.

2 of my BMs are cousins.

1 of my BMs is my FSIL.

And I am torn on one more person. Either 7/8 BMs in all!

MOH- My younger sister - I love her to death!! didnt even have to ask her to be. she already knew

BM- My neice/MOH daughter - She means the world to me. Seeing her grow up has been a great joy in my life!

BM- FSIL- Since I have been with FH she has become one of my closest freinds. I talk to her more than FH does. lol

BM- My dear friend who I worked with years ago.She now lives in AZ. I miss her everyday. So happy she is going to be a part of my our special day

3 of my bm's are girls ive been friends with since i was 9, 1 bm is my fsil, 1 bm is my cousin who was also my roommate for a while, and another bm is a family friend im close with since i was 12

We are having a very small BP
MOH- my sister-in-law (brothers wife) she is like a sister to me.
BM- FH best friend since 6th grade. FH doesnt have and siblings or male cousins so it was a choice between his 2 best friends and he picked the one who lives close by.
JBM- My neice who will be 12 and
RB- my nephew who will be 5 who both of them I love to death

I am having FH's 2 sisters do readings. One lives in MA and the other in FL so I am not close with them.

So.. your bridal party...

who is in it and why?

I am having 1 MOH, 1 BM, 1 junior bridesmaid, 1 FG, 1 RB. FH is having a BM.

MOH - has been my closest and best friend for about the last 10 years, since we worked as waitresses in Houlihan's. We have been through a lot together and she is the sweetest person ever.

BM (really Matron - but who is counting) - we were real close friends and we work with one another. She is the reason FH and I met. She can be very moody and at times I many times I regret asking her, but I guess I must leave it as it. It was my fault to jump suddenly to ask her. You know got all excited when I got engaged.

JBM - my cousin married my best friend from high school and they had a daughter, who is like a niece to me. I would go every other weekend to Virginia to see her ever since she was born until about 4 years old. She will 10 when I get married and lives in Florida, so I don't see her that often, but we are still very close and I love her to death. I wanted her to be my FG, but her mother said she is almost my height right now, so imagine a giant FG for my wedding...uh I think not!!

FG - still haven't decided on who yet. We will see how it goes in the next couple of months to decide who it will be.

RB - my only true nephew, who will be around 2 years old when I get married. He is my love....

We are having 6 on each side, but have been contemplating 7 (advice is appreciated)...

1-MOH - BFF since college. she is like a sister! ive even went on family vacations w her!

2- my sister. im sure most ppl will wonder why she is not my MOH. but we are not that close and i dont think i could count on her for MOH. i debated asking her to b BM. but she said she could afford it cuz she will save $.... we'll see...i hope so!

3- friend since kindergarden

4- friend since HS

5- met her at first job after college. we talk alot on email and i probably talk to her more than the others on a busy week of emailing :)

6- FSIL

7-....here is what im not sure about...FBIL has been dating his GF for over 5 years. most likely they will get married soon after us...do i include her????? FH says i dont need to...but im not sure. i am including FSIL. if not, i think ill ask her to be a reader...but is that enough? IDK!!!

FH has his brother, FBIL, 3 friends from kindergarden, 1 friend from hs, 1 friend from college/work....if he needs a 7th he may ask one of my BM's FHs.
