What is the most random thing FH has requested so far for your wedding????
FH decided rather than an ice sculpture with the two lovebirds, or a heart, he wants.......AN INCREDIBLE HULK ICE SCULPTURE
The worst part about this, is that we asked the RH about it (I could've sworn they would've said no), and they said 'Just bring us a picture and we could probably do it!!!!!'
So it looks like at my cocktail hour, I'll have the incredible hulk
He wants to wear a kilt...Now to some people that' no big deal, right...Yea but he has never worn one in his life, and he wants to go comando underneath!!!! Ummmmm not happening lol So he say's, ok thats fine I will get a nice pair of sandlas to wear that day instead!!!! Sandals?? In a church??

he wanted to design the cake into this five tier thing that when we cut into it, the pillars would fall down and the cake would kind of become one thing....i can't explain it....it was totally weird but the engineer in him was coming out when he was talking about it.

I really can't think of much. The only thing that made me go was that he wanted his groomsmen to have coat tails.

He really hasnt requested anything. However, he was picky about the RH. He's a carpenter...and if people have crappy work...he immed. rules the place out. LOL. He notices things no one would ever even pay attention to!

FH and I are both Catholic, and our families belong to parishes one town over from each other. His family never goes to church - ever - like rarely on holidays. Well, we are getting married in my church, which is traditional, but, FH said he wanted the mosignor from his parish to say a few words at our wedding because the monsignor apparently knows him very well. I mean, I can totally understand that if that was the case - but...he hasn't been to his church in over 10 yrs! And, he HATES the Catholic church. I was so confused - his mom (FMIL) was even confused at why he wanted to do that....!!!
I swear, I have given up on trying to figure him out -otherwise I would loose my sanity
Edited to say - I have no problem with his monsignor saying a few words...at all. But I am perplexed about this b/c the monsignor hardly remembers him...

He wanted his race car to be there for the ceremony, so when we say I do to each other, he can then also say I DO to his race car yeah he's nuts and its not happening

that sounds like something my FH would want... hes a huge comic book dork... there hasnt been anything outrageous that he wants except for Mr. Met (who is really expensive)
