Re: qotd 3/2
well I really do like the photobooth idea.
However the coolest thing I have seen is at my friends wedding she got married this year during the last Giant playoff game. She paid the dj to show the game during her wedding. I thought that was so cool that she would think of her guests.

This past summer I went to a wedding ceremony that was held in Flushing Meadow Park. The groom loves the Mets so he had the bride arrive in the Met-mobile. And he had Mr. Met at the reception. I think he danced more with Mr. Met than his bride. lol

my friend had a vodka and cavier display @ CH. the RH put it in this huge ice sculpture w/ little cubbies for each different bottle of vodka and kind of cavier. i didn't have any ( a little weird about fish eggs when they're not just garnishing sushi) but other guests wiped out the whole thing within a half an hour and raved about it during dinner.

I went to a wedding of a couple from NY but, had it in Penn. Friday was the ceremony and reception with a singer instead of DJ or band, that was ok but,...... That night they had a BBQ wedding reception and that was real fun and then the next morning was the brunch.

I haven't been to too many weddings. I have seen the mashed potatoes bar, and I like that.

Unfortunately I haven't been to too many unique weddings...which is why my wedding will be very unique....so I will have to say that my halloween masquerade wedding will be the most unique.

I went to a cousin's wedding in Georgetown. It was at some antique car barn place and The Exorcist was filmed right on the staircase of that place which was kind of neat! But, this wedding was the best wedding I ever went to. My Uncle got this wine imported from Spain which was like $100 per. I drank so much wine and had NO hangover. It was the best! Also cool about this place was that it had HUGE windows and you could see the Washington DC skyline.

The after hours lounge that some people do after the wedding. I usually only stay for like 2-3 hours but I know of two I was at @ russos people were there until 5. they, had cigar rollers, red carpet, security, blackout drapes, mist, very hot celeb dj, judy torres performed at another etc ...
and then i have a million funny wedding happenings but that weren't planned. that's another thread.
