I'm up way too early for a Saturday morning......

Besides the ring and the fact that FH proposed, what was your favorite part of his proposal?????

For me, it was because it fits us. It was relaxed, laid back, and even some humor and sarcasm involved. Ultimately he proposed by saying 'So you wanna?' Whenever I tell people that, their response is - 'but that's perfect for the two of you'

The fact that it wasn't over the top it was just us in a hotel getting ready. I neevr wanted a big fancy propsal bcause that isn't us at all. FH's propsal was perfect. fit us to the T

That he thought about our favorite things to do and incorporated it into the proposal so that we could be reminded of it. He proposed while decorating our Christmas tree (which we have turned into a tradition) so that every year we decorate our tree it will be even more special.

The fact that both of our families and my moh and his bf were involved - and that EVERYONE surprised me!

I LOVED the fact that he did it holiday time...my FAV time of the year....

that he completely surprised me!!

That he managed to get EVERYONE in on it!!

That he didnt give it away (he is terrible at surprising me lol)

the fact that he asked both of my parents...twice (LONG STORY LOL)

that it was in bed... i love sleep and laying in bed so prosing in bed is exactly what i would have wanted..private just us

that i knew the weekend it would happen-i hateee surprises lol

and that we were in puerto rice and had the most amazing time doing our favorite things there all day..

my favorite part of our proposal is when he said 'Why arent you crying? Arent girls supposed to cry when they get engaged?' He said it so cute and naive, it was absolutely adorable...and the look on his face, priceless...

the fact that it was in a resturant and with our family made it nice. and he did it in his way, not the romantic way by getting on his knee. he just put it on the plate. andwhen i came back from the bathroom he said hey deanna u wanna marry me.

i love the fact that part of the proposal involved a picture frame saying 'Marry Me!' on it. besides my ring, it is something I can keep forever

edited because i wanted to add the fact that FH also took pictures of me when i was opening my picture frame! hes too cute

i didn't cry either.....after we got engaged everyone kept asking if i cried and i was like ummm am i a bad person for not crying?! haha

my favorite part of our proposal was how it was private and romantic....we were walking on the beach in mexico alone...it was perfect

ours was so not smooth lol, i loved that we were laughing while we proposed.... when he opened the ring box the ring had come loose and fell into the sand (we were right by the waves ) and then I was crying and nodding yes... in the dark hahahahahaaaaa i told him to put the ring on already but he hadnt seen me nod yes.... ohhhh boy were slick

i love 2 things...one that he had our MOH and BM who set up the scenario take pictures of everything before it happened so that i had something to remind me of the proposal
and 2 that he called me ugly right before it happened lol yes thats right.
he was very nervous and walking up the walkway to the apartment he was like 'you're ugly' and im like 'thanks babe' then i opened the door to the trail of rose petals
it was just 'us' like others have said...he's very humorous and things like that get said all the time

Well our first 'official' date was at my cousin's wedding, but for our second date, the more laid back one, we spent the day together, had dinner, and then went to the beach in the evening, right around sunset. So when he proposed, he made sure it was at that same beach, at sunset.

And we made many, many memories at that beach besides just that first (or second) date, so it really meant a lot to us.

I loved how nervous he was....it was the cutest thing....I also loved the fact that he really made it unique and hired a violinist to come to the restaurant and play at our table right before he proposed. I love violins and have been saying for years that I want to walk down the aisle to a violin playing and he incorporated that into the proposal. He thought every little detail out! :)

i also loved that he did it at christmas time! I looove christmas lights so whats more perfect then doing it at rockefeller center. I also love how he incorporated something that made me first fall in love with him.

He also put a lot of thought into planning it.
