So FH and I moved in together in 2012, we started looking in September/October and then with Sandy we found it to be very difficult to find a place. When we first moved in we struggled a bit just getting to know the little things, such as not picking up towels in the bathroom, or NEVER washing dishes unless asked to do so. So my question today is.. Do you live together yet? What was the hardest thing to learn about the other once the two of you moved in together?

we been living together since 10/12! at first it was strange and had to learn each others do or don'ts but I couldn't be happier now! we do everything together, we have our own chores that we just do, ( ill cook he will do the dishes) we have our cats, it has been great

Fh and I moved in together on 10/15/2011. It took us about a month to find the perfect place we both liked. At first, we were fine. I think the excitement lasted a few months. After a few months passed we really started learning how to live with each other. It was definitely an adjustment, for the both of us! But now we are old pro's. There is nothing better then getting to live with your best bud! =)
There are little things that annoy me still though... like my FH never closes the cabinets. I come home and walk into the kitchen and 3 cabinet doors will be open... drives me nuts!! LOL And he likes to take his shoes off right at the front door... and just leave them there. So annoying!!! But I am lucky and really don't have too much to complain about. Just small little things.

Too funny! FH does this too! Drives me insane! But I have to say with all of the little things, he has been amazing to live with. He works from home so he makes dinner a lot, he also does a lot of the cleaning (aside from the bathroom or kitchen) :) It is fun getting to know one another in a different way!

We don't full time live together bc I am still in NY but we are starting to look for houses this Sunday, so as soon as I move down we wont have to live with his brother any more. Hopefully I can get a job in PA soon

FH and I moved in together at the beginning of July. The biggest thing I had to get used to was not living with my parents anymore. We quickly figured out how to live with each other and each other's quirks. He likes to clean so we made a deal early on that I will cook every night if he does the dishes. This works out great for me since I am not a fan of doing the dishes.

We don't live together yet, but FH hates that I squeeze the toothpaste tube from the middle instead of the end. He calls it barbaric haha. And he drives me crazy because he leaves glasses and wrappers all around!

We moved in together in March 2010. We learned eachothers quirks lol FH hates that I do the toothpaste thing also and take my socks off in the bed when I am going to sleep LOL He isn't the neatest person and there are times I have to nag him to do stuff around the apartment which drives me crazy sometimes but I love living with him. I think it is important to live together before marriage!

I asked FH to move in when he was finished with law school in 2012.... at first I wanted to kill him because he isn't the cleanest person and i still have not trained him to pick up his cloths next to our bed..... but he makes up for it with DIY demolishing and renovating my kitchen/bathroom and other home remodeling projects... when i'm done with school in December I am defiantly going to get a cleaning lady!

I actually moved in with him and then recently we just got OUR new place in Decemeber. It is so true when they say you really get to know someone when you live with them. I can be OCD some times but have learned to tone it down some. What I don't understand is why does he not close things. Drawers, closets, cabinets, etc. I just don't get it. The toilet seat I finally got = ) but I can't get those damn drawers and cabinets and closets to close. Hahahaha!
