Q.O.T.D - 3/9/12

What has been the most difficult part of planning your wedding to date?

My answer - I have had a few bumps in the road so far, first we had the whole bridesmaids dress fiasco which ended in our favor so it was well worth it , second my church sent me a letter stating they would be starting construction in May and didn't think they would be done in time for my Dec wedding and that I need to find a new location for the ceremony! Nice right!!! But I found another church which is just as if not more beautiful and now all is good, third finding shoes I thought was going to be the death of me !! I had such a hard time finding shoes I loved. I mean I like a bunch of pairs but nothing jumped out to me until about 2 weeks ago. I ordered them on Wednesday and they will be delivered on Monday!! So excited

I would have to say the most difficult part has been in deciding when we have enough food. My FH and I decide to have an elaborate cocktail and dessert reception. Even though we're not doing a full sit down dinner, I don't want people to think we're cheaping out.

hmm the cake tasting was stressful since the guy we went to was very mean. But other than that nothing really. If there is something that starts to get annoying I just tell myself its not worth getting upset over, hopefully im like that on our wedding day, godforbid something happens!

My husband wanted a 5 hour cocktail hour for the wedding!! He loves the idea of variety and not having to choose just one option. Plus he says that is the best part of the wedding!!

Getting favors!! I had these favors picked out and went to the store to pick them up (I ordered them offline) and they were not what I wanted at all! The picture showed a silver toned frame and the actual frame was a beige. They claimed it was a different silver finish. So I had to return and come up with a plan B, which turned out great cause I like them more.

Difficult part is planning around the bridal party's schedule to do things.

probably the invite list. It hasnt been a horrible experience but its caused some tension between FH and I a couple times. I have a very large family and theres lots of people so it makes it really hard.

scheduling the rehearsal dinner...I never knew how many places in Long Island won't take large (or any) reservations on a Friday night
