Good Morning Everyone. First - I want to thank Ilana for making me BOTW. I hope I do as well as my predecessors.

My first question stems from the Easter Monday thread. Its a 2 part question. I hate coming to work the day after a holiday and it got me thinking this morning.

1) When you were a little girl/boy what did you want to be when you grew up

2) If you can work anywhere in the world and do whatever you want, what is your dream job?


1) When I was little, I wanted to be a nurse. Until I saw all the blood and such involved.

2) My dream job now is to work with the NY Mets behind the scenes. (not in concessions )

1) When I was little I wanted to be a professional gift wrapper at Macy's....I just loved wrapping gifts and thought that was something I could major in, in college!

2) If I could have any job it would probably be something in the fashion industry, like maybe a buyer for Saks.

1. When I was younger I really wanted to be an actress.. I took lessons, was in a few shows at school. I just loved it.

2. It would be the same.... I still have that same little girl dream...

1. when i was little i wanted to be a veterinarian or a marine biologist

2. i started to go to school for veterinarian science but then i stopped because i couldnt handle the bloodiness and such. i think i would still love to be a marine biologist and work somewhere warm...like with dolphins...those trainers have such an awesome job lol

1) i used to want to be a lawyer..... lol i could barely make it through undergrad without complaining everyday hahaaaaaa

2) prob a wedding planner now, its so much fun!

1. When I was a little girl, I wanted to be Stevie Nicks. I thought she was the prettiest, coolest lady out there! (I still kinda do!) I never fixated on any kind of job...I just wanted to BE Stevie Nicks when I grew up!

2. My dream job now would include something where I'm helping animals - not like a vet, but more along the lines of being able to ensure that animals are never abused. I can't bear to see the results of animal cruelty

2 iwould love to bea housewife. work part time doing what i do now to keep myself sane and humble... but be a fillllthhhyyyy rich housewife

1) When I was little I always wanted to be a lawyer, I don't know why because I was always shy. Funny note though, my little crazy sister always wanted to be a trapeze artist or a farmer, and she was dead serious.

2) Now, if I could be anything in the world, I think I'd be a teacher. All of my friends who are teachers really seem to enjoy their jobs, and it gives them a real sense of accomplishment.

1- I wanted to be a vet (but that idea went out the window once I found out that I might have had to put the animals to sleep) or a marine biologist. I also wanted to be a meteorologist - something I wish I persued.

2- My dream job would be to have a job that I could do, while staying home with my family. Not exactly sure what it would be though - but as long as I enjoyed it - that would make me happy. I just can't stand being miserable at my job anymore... Although, the best thing ever, if money wasnt an option, would be to own a little tiki hut on the beach on some caribbean island...that would be so wonderful!

1. When i was a kid, I never wanted to grow up and became an adult-never really understood why you had to do that and still don't really want to grow up

2. My dream job would be owning a business with my sister, which would be a combo of different things all in one place-don't want to say what those would be-you might try to steal the idea

1) When I was little I wanted to be a teacher and then later that turned into a lawyer lol.

2) My dream job would be something with kids and something fulfilling. I will hopefully achieve this eventually bc I do want to go back and teach someday once the future kiddies are in school. Seriously though just can't wait to be a mom, dream job by far lol.

when i was a little girl i always wanted to be an astronaut. don't ask y cuz i have no idea.
my dream job would be anything making alot of money...

1. When I was a kid I wanted to be one of two things: either a professional dancer or a lawyer. I'm a social worker

2. My dream job would be to be paid to travel around the world. I LOVE traveling, but just don't have the time or money to do it. FH's cousin is a consultant of some sort and last year was paid to go on a cruise, swim with dolphins, go golfing, etc. That would definitely be my dream job.

1. when i was little i wanted to be a dentist or a teacher - it always flipped back and forth. now i'm a teacher.

2. my dream job would be to have samantha brown's job on the travel channel. that might be difficult with a family, otherwise, my dream job woul'd be working in the front offices for the NY Yankees.

1) when i was little i wanted to be a vet. Then i got to HS and realized i SUCK in math AND chemistry.

2) My dream job would still to be a vet and work with domesticated animals.

maybe in another lifetime......

1. When I was a little girl, I wanted to be a vet. Taking care of animals.

2. Seriously, my dream job would be a professional traveler. You know like William Hurt in the Accidental Tourist, who traveled and then wrote books about the best places to visit.

I wanted to be a lawyer until my 3rd year of college- then I worked for a law office and that dream went down the drain! (Apparently I'm not cut throat enough for the law)

I would love to make tv shows...
