Being I am an accountant and today is the last day of tax season the QOTD is...
What do you and your FH do for a living and do your working hours affect your relationship at all?
I am accountant and am going to school for my masters so I am super busy the first four months of the year. FH is a conductor on the LIRR and works crazy hours. It is tough at times because we don't get to spend time together as often as we like (and we live together!). I am taking a few days off from work this week on his days off so we can finally spend some time together (and wedding plan of course!).

I'm a student and FH is a consultant. He flies out every Sunday and comes back Thursday night. Sometimes I feel like we don't spend enough time together because we each have our own friends and the weekends are the only times that we can see them. We try to find a nice balance :)

I am a student and a banker, and FH does IT consulting. He works in manhattan so by the time he gets home with his commute, he is exhausted, which makes having night appointments with vendors very difficult. At this point, because we are so close, he has accepted that there are only so many weekends to do things and appointments will need to be made during the week LOL!
EDIT: MrsK, I just read your answer, and I have to say I love that you did your epics on train tracks! That's so cute, tying in with your FH's job!!

I work in the garment center doing sales for a dancewear company and FH is an IT administrator at an investment firm. We actually work really similar hours and take the train together in the morning and sometimes on the way home.

Thanks! He is into all the train history so when we found out there was an old train museum with actual tracks and train car we loved the idea.

FH & I are both accountants. I'm at the big 4 so I'm here 830-10/11 :( We only get to see each maybe once a week because I have to work on weekends also. Its been crazy but its almost over ugh I don't know how I'm going to do this when I'm married!

I'm an event planner & party hostess and my fiance' works for the March of Dimes. I work weekends, which can be difficult seeing each other as we don't live together yet... but we make it work depending on what my schedule is for that weekend. Thankfully my fiance' works on Long Island now--ever since we started dating he was always working in the city and didn't get home until 8:00 at night on weeknights, but now on some days he gets home before I do! haha

I'm a librarian and mainly work 9-5 with the exception of 4 times a month when I work 1-9...My FH works 2 jobs so it's really his job schedule that makes it tricky to see each other! He works at an adult home during the day and works for Macys PT and works a lot of weekends and nights.. Since we don't live together it's tough sometimes!

I am a office manager in the medical field and I run 5 surgical dermatology offices. I am constantly running. FH works for Fedex so thankfully his busy season is mostly around Xmas. We are both exhausted when we come home. But it could definatly be worst we both love what we do.

I work days and FH works nights. I miss him all the time. Sometimes it feels like I have a roommate. That's why I always look forward to weekends!
