Ok... it is finally Friday! I won't be on much today, because I am driving to BALTIMORE to see my honey! I thought this week was going to go by so slowly, but it didn't! But I know one thing is for sure, this next week will speed by so quickly it won't even feel like I had a whole week with him. Ok, I tried to think of some great question for today, but I am somewhat at a loss... so...
What are some things you probably would have never thought to include in your wedding, that you found out about because of LIW? (This may have been done before, but like I said, I'm at a loss - got FH and driving on the brain!)
For me, the first thing that comes to mind is tree branch centerpieces... I LOVE THEM and I am pretty sure that I didn't know such things existed until I started looking on here. Also, seating placement votives, which I am excited about DIYing over the next year!

First, some of the vendors I may not have even made appts with if not for LIW- like officiant and DJ.
There are so many DIY things that you wonderful ladies have given me ideas about, cales, groom cakes (definitely that one) and I am sure tons more by the time the wedding rolls around.
Thanks for sharing so many great ideas

I am the same way about Duet! I would have never found them... I was all about Park Ave and Visual Concepts before I started on here

I was going to book another Photographer until I came on here and heard about Duet.
Most other things I found out about at work.
Oh, one thing is the photocards [the cards asking people to upload their pictures to a shutterfly account]. I did that at the engagement party and everyone loved the idea.
Most people in my family have over the top weddings so I've seen the cigar roller a million times and my friend used the photobooth.

I probably wouldn't have found Burton's if it wasn't for this site!
I love the treebranch centerpieces also! I would have done that if we kept our original date in October

Have fun with your honey!!!
There is a lot that I never thought I would do until I found LIW. I'm doing a lot of DIY - water bottles, bathroom baskets, OOT boxes, slipper baskets, donation cards, place card holders & place cards. And I wouldn't have ever known about the vendors I chose. Pretty much, I would be lost without this site

Pretty much all of the vendors I'm planning on looking at... only one of my good friends is married already and she only looked at one place for each vendor, so she didn't have too many suggestions.
Also this is a small thing but I think the invisible pen to number your reply cards is a great idea! All the ones I've gotten before just have had the numbers pencilled in.

Hmmm...candy bar & save the date magnets come to mind. Musicians for the church...
and the list keeps growing...between LIW and shows like Whose Wedding is it Anyway & Rich Bride Poor Bride, the ideas just keep coming!
