Good evening ladies...

I hope everyone had a great day!!! I am exhausted....I haven't slept well the past 2 days. I am having some friend drama...

I have a college friend who has been completely selfish, and ***** since i have gotten engaged. She was supposed to come to my eparty back in july and in the middle of the party I get a text from her saying that she wasn't coming because she got her period??? and then she never called me again until january. she acted like nothing was wrong.

And then she responded yes to my shower and once again she didn/t show up.

There is so much more to this story, but I am emotionally drained. But she is calling me materialistic and selfish.

As of now, I haven't sent out her invite and i don't know what to do.

So my question today is....

Who has let you down during this process, who has shocked you with their lack of involvement?

But on the upside... who has totally surpassed your expectations?

For me, this is the step sister inlaw, she has gine above and beyond for this whole wedding!! She had been apart and headed all of my DIY porjects. I feel really blessed to have her around, and we have gotten so much closer during this whole process!!

I can't say that it surprised me, but one of my BMs has been extremely difficult. Her personality was always as such, not that it's an excuse. I mean, I'm cold as ice, but she's just a WASP, and is tenfold worse than I am. Things she says and does it's like are you kidding me? I don't even talk to her about the wedding really, because she gets all weird on me.

Honestly, no one has surprised me in the other direction. Maybe my mom, because she's been somewhat helpful, even though I didn't expect her to approve of me getting married.

my MOH (my cousin) she is THE BEST!!!!!

the person who has totally not been there for ANYTHING is one of my BM's....she didn't come to the e-party, the luncheon I threw, she never even responded to the shower, didn't come and didn't chip in for my gift, so my wonderful MOH put up her share. She's not coming to the bachelorette party, and told me after I told her the RD was Thursday, that she wasn't coming down (from rochester) until at LEAST friday night....this girl is out of control, I could care less whether she comes to the wedding or not. She hasn't responded and if she doesn't do so by the response date I'm calling her and telling her not to bother....so much more to this drama but I'll leave it at that

On the up side, I wouldn't say people have surprised me, but the people who have been there for me, aside from my mom, my aunts, my dad and FH would have to be of course MOH, my two cousins, one of whom is getting married 3 weeks after us and has been there for every event and her sister, busy in her own right, is right there with her. Another BM who lives upstate has managed to make it down for everything, was the first to get her dress, she's always there to listen to me vent and make me laugh, these girls were so incredible at my shower the other day and I couldn't be happier to have such amazing people as part of our wedding for my girls!!!!!!!
