Happy Earth Day!!!

I am soooo sick of rain!!!!! Where is spring?

today's question....

what has been your biggest compromise, with planning this wedding?

Great Question:

My biggest compromise was the dj and photography. FH said the vendors I loved were too much. As it turns out I am happy I listened, we foound 2 great vendors and are saving a ton of money.

Location. I wanted a destination wedding and FH did not.

The size and location of the wedding...I wanted a small destination wedding.

My biggest compromise has been the Size. I wanted a much smaller and intimate celebration and FH wanted a much larger one. I figured that if that was really his major request I would compromise on the guest number as long as the bridal party stayed small.

Once I gave in and did the big wedding thing instead of the destination wedding, the biggest compromise on my part has been the dj. I had my heart set on a band. However, FH prefers a dj and not just for monetary reasons. I lost the battle, but I am happy with the dj we chose.

i would have to say getting married at the RH. Fh wanted a church and i didnt. To this day he still brings it up that we aren't getting married at the church, and im like ugh deal with it its not happening lol.

My biggest compromise is having a larger wedding that i didn't want. I want a small intimate gathering instead.

In light of a lot of things that happened a number of months ago, we had to change our venue, I don't really see it as a step down because our place is amazing, the food, views and staff are top notch, but just not what we originally planned....but nonetheless we're so excited!!!

My biggest compromise was being ok with FH having 3 best men because he couldn't choose between his brothers. Now I have to think of a special job for each of them. Two are easy (one stands on the altar with him, the other will make a speech at the wedding) but the other I'm not sure about...

I'm open to ideas.

same here

i didn't want a destination wedding tho...i did want a band and fh and my dad were totally against me!
but i LOVE our dj!
