QOTD 4/22/10

Hey girls! Hope everyone is having a great day so far!

Today's question is...

Out of all the planning you've done so far, which is the one thing that has driven you the craziest, and why?

For me it was tough to decide since I felt that way about a lot of things. But I would have to say the worst was, actually still is, finalizing who we are going to invite to the wedding. It has been the cause of a lot of argument between my mom, FH, and me.

so far I would have to say the guest list between the two families and getting everyone to get organized with it....

One day we have 100 guests, next day 150, next 200, currently 213....IT'S DRAINING AND QUITE ANNOYING!!!

Favors.......most of you know my favor drama, but for those of you that don't, it took me over 6 months to pick out a favor. Everytime I found one I liked, it was discontinued........this happened 3 times

by far the whole RSVP process. you really learn how rude people are bc they don't send it in or they do it late after you have to track them down. People cancelling after they say yes or trying to add other guests with them. It is soo stressful

Ummm flowers. I kind of regret who I chose. She's not helpful at all. Ughh shouldn't have listened to my mom.

Everything else has been pretty smooth. Some things annoying, but not too bad

the craziest part was putting together the cupcake favors! the day before the wedding there were about 6 women helping me and my MOH put them in the boxes and tying the bows, and putting the tags on em, etc. omg what a production that was!

Hands down the guest list. The guest list caused us to change our original date, which I was in love with and our RH, although I am in love with the new RH, lol. It just felt a little like we were jumping hoops to be accomodating, when the day is really about us when all is said and done.

Guest list from the FIL's side.

It was the first time I ever had to get really loud with the FMIL.

They changed it eleventy billion times. I started lying and telling them that the invites were already done and addressed.

im gunna have to say the list!!!! FMIL keeps taking people off FFIL keeps putting them back on. just give me a number!!! and i have to invite the people i dont want there bc they are family, and that is killing me!!!!

figuring out the limo situation was a HUGE headache..
how many limos, who is going in which limo, parent limos, how are people going to get home and so on...ughhhh lol

Trying to find a place for the first ceremony!!! (We're having an 'unofficial' ceremony to honor his religion a month or so before the legal one)...and trying to figure out who is going to pay for it (we're not and I'm not using the budget my parents gave us for the legal wedding...)
And maybe trying to convince FH to ask his mom if she plans on getting teeth before the wedding But it hasn't been too bad.........Still can't find a place for first ceremony though!

Finding my dress. I hated everything I tried on whether it was 1k or 10k. I cried when I tried them on just like everyone said I would - but they were tears of ' I can't believe i have to wear this thing' as opposed to tears of happiness. Blech - wedding gowns should be banned from the planet. Luckily I found a plain simple one that, dyed in any other color, could pass for a regular evening gown.

the bm dresses were a freakin debacle.......i'm still not 100% in love with them but my sisers were just so freakin annoying to deal with. they had something bad to say about every dress they tried on...and they each tried on about 30!!!!!!!! it was a messssss and i ended up just being like....OK THIS IS THE ONE UR WEARING! OH WELL!!!
