Meeting FIs friends for the first time can be stressful. You want to make a good impression, but at the same time you don't want to put on an act. You're hoping his friends will become your friends... But what if they don't? Does FI have (or HAD until you entered the picture) any friends that you just can't stand? Or vice versa, does he purposely avoid hanging out with you when you're with one or more of your friends?
Thankfully FI doesn't have any friends that I absolutely can not deal with, but there are a few I'm happy seeing as little of as possible. Some of his friends from high school are so immature that it blows my mind that they're actually in their 30s instead of 20s lol. But deep down they're all good guys and that's what counts.
As for me, when FI and I first met I spent a lot of time with a group of 3 guy friends (JUST friends). But one of them had always wanted to be more than friends with me, and he couldn't handle it when FI and I started to really hit it off. Eventually I lost touch with them, but honestly it's for the best. They weren't a good influence on me anyway (they drank way too much). Luckily he gets along with all my female friends :)
Thankfully we both get along very well with eachothers' friends and have had no problems at all. That being said, my FH's best friend is fantastic and we get along SO well but I'm pretty certain his fiance hates me!! My fh tells me im crazy and that she 'acts that way around everyone' but I don't buy it or I do buy it but that just means she's a total b***h for no reason lol. It bothers me only because i think it would be nice if she and I were closer so we could hang out while our men hang out. I guess at this stage of the game in life, i know who my real friends are and don't really need to make news ones. Her loss... I'm really fun hahahahaha

Ugh. FH has this one friend I CAN'T STAND!! We were young when we started dating and so we all did dumb things. But this one guy, just never grew up. He's always so immature, drinks way too much all the time when we're out to the point of being embarrassing. Luckily, enough time has gone by and we've all grown up, FH has seen him for who he really is and he doesn't come around much anymore. But, ugh, whenever he is around, I'm just disgusted with him. lol.
My friends are perfect, he loves them. LOLOLOL!!!

I'm pretty okay with all of his close friends. No real issues. Not in love with some of his buddies, but I can deal with them for a night. A lot of them are still single and/or still think they're in college so it makes hanging out not super fun all of the time, but I can usually deal with it for a night. FH has not issues that I know of with my friends. He's so great at adapting to any situation, I wish it were so easy for me!

I'm not the biggest fan of his friends but we never really see them since they're all in Staten Island. He gets along with all my friends except for one b/c him and I had somewhat of a past and FH thinks we're both still in love with each other lol. One of FH's friends I actually really like he's fun and nice but he has the trashiest girlfriend ever. She's a 'raver' which I think is dumb at our age and just trashy like black bras pulled up so you can see under white tanks and posting half naked pictures online ugh so gross.

FH has nice friends. They aren't crazy. The craziest they get is screaming at the screen watching soccer. His two closest are really sweet good friends. I wish I had single friends for them! FH likes my friends too. We do couple get togethers once in a while.
