~QOTD 4/25/13~

Wedding planning is definitly a process! Not only is it a process but it is also a learning experience.

What have you learned about yourself and FH, if anything, during the wedding planning process?

What I have learned about myself is that I have more of a backbone than I ever thought I did! I also learned that I am not too bad at negotiating lol.

I haven't learned anything new about FH but the wedding planning has reminded me of a lot of FH's qualities that I adore about him... like how much he loves his friends and family and how he would pretty much do anything to make me happy :)

Nothing too crazy or out of the ordinary has gone down in the planning process.. I guess I've learned that FH cares just a litttlleeee bit more than I thought he would.. And that my taste is more specific than I thought it was! Lol

I don't think I've learned any good things about myself. lol Although I'm being very casual with the wedding itself, the planning I have NOT been. I have learned how obsessive and controlling I can be about planning a wedding. Lol not good.

About FH I've learned that he will never voice his opinion unless I directly ask him point blank to lol. He's a nonchalant guy, but after a little bit of planning I realized he wasn't happy with everything but just wouldn't say it! Now I ask him about EVERYTHING and I'm surprises how into planning he is in general.

So Yeah, Me = Bad, FH = good lol

I've learned that I am really good at negotiating & spending money

I dont think I've learned anything new about FH during the wedding planning process because he isnt really into the wedding planning.

I've learned that I can handle the craziness of wedding planning. I haven't really planned a lot of parties for myself or anyone really because I hate planning events like this.

As for FH, I learned that even though it seems like he's not listening to anything I say about the wedding, he cares a lot about it and is doing everything he can to make me happy. I'm proud of him! LOL

I've learned that I'm really good at planning a wedding and staying in my budget.

As for FH, I've learned that he's easy going and in the end will let me choose what I want....which is perfect!

I haven't really learned anything new about FH or myself. We are super compatible so I pretty much figured he would be on point with planning. He and I have done this whole thing together and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I would say that we both now have the attitude that this day is about us and others opinions don't matter. We have had a lot of drama with my dad and I have now gotten closure on a lot of things. FH stood by my side and really helped me move past this BS. FH is the best.

I haven't learned that much about FH or myself - well I guess I've learned I'm more selfish than I thought - hahaha. The whole process has just reaffirmed why we're getting married and how well we work together as a team. I wouldn't want it any other way!

I learned we spend way to much so when we put ourselves on a budget we reeled it in big time. I have learned anything new just confirmed as we plan we make a great team, we're on the same page, and that he's awesome lol.

I have learned that I can make decisions on my own and with FH. I also have learned that FH is much more open to compromise. We have been communicating 100000 X better and we really have learned that we can do this and make money decisions about our future!

Great question!

I've realized that while I'm good at planning, I get stressed out very easily and often second-guess myself.

As for FH, he is my rock and always makes me feel better. I have also learned that he has a knack for planning the finer details and has a better idea of how our wedding should be like. All the vendors (and I) are often amazed at how detail-oriented he is, and I always end up loving his suggestions.

I have learned that FH loves me way too much. Anything that I mentioned in the past wedding related he is forcing down my throat. I always said I wanted a post-wedding bonfire, he's making sure that happens. I always wanted a photo booth, but recently deemed it unnecessary b/c I'd like our kids to be able to afford college one day!! He thinks we need one b/c I said I wanted one when this wedding was just a fantasy. I love him for it but it drives me INSANE!! As for me, I'm so whatever about it all which is how i thought i'd be!
