What has been the most stressful part of wedding planning? If you'd the resource, would you have hired a Wedding Planner?
The most 'STRESSFUL' part of wedding planning for me has been COORDINATING bridal party and invitee list!!!!! I don't know about you girls.. But SPANISH people tend to think a private wedding affair equals an open invitation to the world!!! I've told some people off and probably have some FRENEMY somewhere down the line...
I would of hired a wedding planner (As directed by my mother!!) But my sister offered to take care of things... and she has been traveling non-stop all over the carribean.. She just got back yesterday from a 5 day cruise with my nephew!!! She just got back from MIA 2 weeks ago!! I've learned my lesson.. I love her though.. She does things at her pace!!

most stressful part so far has been dealing with my sisters and mom, they are so opinonated and give me a hard time about everything,
i wouldnt have hired a wedding planner because im too anxiety filled and i would have annoyed the crap out of her!!

I think the most stressful part is paying, lol! especially in this economy it *****! Also, who pays for what, and do you ask, or wait til it's offered! i hate that!

So far the most stressful thing is dealing with family opinions on EVERYTHING we do! Everyone has an opinion and while we want to make everyone happy, FH and I are paying for 99.99% of this wedding ourselves and want things done OUR way.

def the dress...i hate dress shopping..i know strange
if i was loaded i def would have hired a panner just to make it easier

the guest list has been the most difficult part of this entire wedding.
no i would not have hired a planner...im a bit of a martyr when it comes to doing things myself.

The most stressful part of planning has been dealing with my mother, who is extremely opinionated, controlling, and rude! Other than that, it's been great!!!

This sounds ridiculous, but for me the most stressful party was registering!!! FH was a PITA about certain things – then we registered too early so certain things were discontinued and we had to find new replacements.
Oh and finding BM shoes.
I guess it’s good though if that’s been the worst part so far.

By far getting FH to cooperate. He refuses to just let me go full steam with things, and because he doesn't agree with my time frame of when to do things, just doesn't, and for the most part he's the purse strings, so I really CAN'T move forward at my own pace. That's why we still don't have limos, wedding bands, a rehearsal booked, etc. Like pulling teeth!
So yes, I def would have hired a wedding planner if I had unlimited funds, so I could tell them what I wanted, and they could make it happen, and there would be no arguments!

Taking on two jobs to pay for this wedding (my regular teaching gig and all of these NYSSMA festivals. . .) has been frigging stressful. FH has definitely made comments about how he never sees me anymore. . .
I don't think I could have dealt with hiring a planner, because I'm such a control freak.

Most stressful part has been dealing with my mothers demands. I wanted a small wedding and now it's big because of these ppl that HAD to be invited..what a pain!!

MOST STRESSFUL-EVERYONES OPINIONS-IM SO TIRED OF HEARING WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK OF MY WEDDING DECISIONS-WHEN DID 1/2 THE PEOPLE I KNOW BECOME WEDDING EXPERTS?
