QOTD 4/6

It's finally the weekend! For today's question, let's talk showers....

How involved were you or are you going to be in the planning of your shower? Is there anyone who doesn't want a shower?

The original plan was for mine to be a surprise, but honestly, I think that's so difficult to pull off. As far as I know, nothing has been planned yet for mine (it's still pretty far away), but I did give my mom a few places to check out. It has to be within a 2 week timeframe, because there are so many other weddings we have going on in the fall, so there is absolutely no way I won't find out. It kind of bums be out a bit, because I think the element of surprise is exciting, but when all is said and done, as long as it's fun it doesn't matter!

I have no idea if im having one or if my mom/sister is planning one. Id hope so but when where how or if it will happen at all I have no clue.

I'm involved because I hate surprises lol. I know when and where mine is, and told my mom I wanted a brunch. I also told her I wanted everyone to write out a recipe to make into a cook book for me (I found out she was planning on doing this before I said anything anyway lol). Yea, I'm a little bit of a control freak.

I knew absolutley nothing about my shower and it was perfect! My sister, who I trust with everything, threw it for me and it was just how I wanted it. . I loved not having the stress of planning and organizing it and it allowed me to focus just on the wedding. At first I wanted to know everything because I felt I needed that control but once I let go, it was great.

I am not sure if I will be involved in planning my shower. I HATE surprises so I definitely need to know when and where it is. I am a huge planner so I need to know when things are so I can plan everything around it.

I know when and where mine is. I helped my mom pick out the invites. I told her I wanted an English Garden Theme and am letting her run with the idea because I have my hands full planning a wedding lol

All I want to know is when it is so I can dress up. My FH and family will not tell me anything. No one asked me if any date was good or even for an outfit. FH better make sure I am wearing the dress I purchased or he will never hear the end of it. I didn't want to be involved with planning and I also did not have the time to plan it.

My MOH keeps asking me general questions about what I want. I already bought a dress that she's going to hold on to so I can change when I get there. I know it's going to be in in August most likely but that's it! I just realized that I'm going to make sure to get my nails done every weekend just in case lol

I told my mom and MOH that I want a jack and jill backyard BBQ/pool party. I'm not a fan of traditional showers and I thought this would be fun, kind of a mix between an engagement party and a shower. Other than that its all up to them!

Mine is a surprise, and I definitely wanted it that way. I might know when it is, but I'm just going with the flow lol!

I only knew the date, time & place because I work weekends and there would be no way to surprise me haha

The decorations, theme, etc. were all a surprise! It was beautiful!!

Mine was today!It was first originally going to be a suprise then i wanted to know when and where. I didnt get involved at all. I just ate a lot FOOD yumyumyum :)
