HONEYMOONS!!

Where are you ladies looking and where are you ladies going?

Give the details – How many days? Special Plans or schedules? Excursions, reservations, and accommodations?? Dine and wine and all divine?? How are you resting and how are you relaxing? Beach, sun and fun - tour, sight and see or both? Airlines and Agents, packages and prices? Hotels, Resorts, Islands and continents, across seas and once in a lifetime views and experiences?

What are your plans and/or what are you planning?

I;m looking at islands. I haven't been to one since I went to the Bahamas w my parents when I was 16.

I want an all inclusive, couples only, relaxing yet lots of stuff to do if we want, not TOO far but not right here.

I'm thinking St Lucia, Mexico or the Bahamas.

We are doing a mini-moon right after the wedding.

We leave the next night on a 7 day mexican riviera cruise. We go to Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta & Cabo. We registered for a few excursions on Travelersjoy, but not sure how many we will do. We like to relax on vacations. Definately want to do a couples massage and maybe check out a class where you can learn dishes with the chefs of the ship. The coolest part is that we are opening the honeymoon up to anyone that wants to join us. So we have family and friends looking to book as well. So we'll continue the party and wedding celebration on the ship!

Our REAL honeymoon will be later in the year in October. 3 weeks in Italy. We are still working on the details.

i know that we are going to do a 2 week cruise in the Mediterranean and a couple of days in Rome but we haven't figured out any of the logistics yet...

FILs are paying for our honeymoon as our wedding gift. We are going to Mexico for our Cinco de Mayo wedding. Whoo hoo!

We are using their timeshare in Cancun and staying for 7 days, all inclusive.

I want to do the excursions like jet skiing through the jungle and going to see the ancient ruins. I've never been to Mexico so FH is going to have to give me the tour.

haven't finalized anything yet...but we want to do a week at an all-inclusive resort in the caribbean. we just can't figure out what island. i started looking into st. lucia and antigua. to be honest, all the islands seem the same to me lol. i just want sun, sand, and drinks- don't really care where i am!

WOW. that's awesome- i love the fact that you invited your family on the first vacation, but the 2nd will be just you and FH. and 3 weeks in italy??? AWESOME!!!

We have no idea! lol we want to go someplace neither of us have been before. it marrows it down b/c FH used to travel alot (and still does) with the guys. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to go to Tahiti or Bora Bora - but I dont think A. we can afford it, or B. FH will be that into it (mostly b/c of the price)

I have heard St Lucis is nice. I would like to do an all incluive somewhere.. hopefully couples only.

We will be going to Jamaica - Couples Swept Away Resort in Negril

How many days?
min. 9 days - maybe go for a bit longer

Special Plans or schedules?
We are probably going to book one of their honeymoon package add-ons (couples massage, private candlit dinner for 2 on the beach, champagne and strawberries in the room upon arrival)

Excursions, reservations, and accommodations?
We will be staying in one of ther beachfront suites which as soon as we step out of our room we are steps away from the beach!!! As far as excursions we will most likely do some Jet Skiing, I would like to go Scuba Diving and we will probably do the Catamaran Cruise.

Dine and wine and all divine?
We will probably hit up all their resturants at least once while we are there (it's all-inclusive so why not!)

How are you resting and how are you relaxing?
We will most likely spend most of our time lounging on the beach or at the swim up bar getting wasted in the sunshine LOL

Beach, sun and fun - tour, sight and see or both?
Since we didn't do it last time, we may take a trip to Margaritaville (it's included in our package).

Airlines and Agents, packages and prices?
We are going to take advantage of the new direct flight that JetBlue offers - I don't care how much extra it costs (no connecting flights here!). We will book the actual accomodations through the Couples.com website - that's what we did last time, but we will book the flights separate. When you do it through the site I don't think it let's you choose your flights.

EDIT: I should also mention that we won't be taking this trip until Nov/Dec 2011 (so 6 months after the wedding). After the wedding we will most likely be taking an NCL week long cruise with FH's family to Bermuda since all his family will be in from Ireland/England. It's will be out mini-moon

Im not a flier unfortunately so I can use any and ALL ideas! We want to do something different but how to get there???

I just posted about this yesterday, but we're doing back-to-back cruises from NY b/c FH doesn't fly - to Bermuda, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Puerto Rico and Haiti. 15 days!!!!!!

I want to do a 14 day cruise to Hawaii. I've been checking the Princess Cruise Lines website and they don't have any dates for October 2011 yet

yeah we cant decide at all...we keep going back and forth and here good/bad about each place..making it harder and harder to decide..i guess its a good thing that we still have plenty of time : )
