I am pretty stressed out today because I have a big presentation I am giving at 3:30. I won't be on today till after work because my boss came up from NY for it.
So my question of the day has to do with thinking of happy things! So what is your happiest moment with your FH, besides getting engaged of course!
For me, I would say it was the day we moved in together. I remember we got all the boxes into our NYC apartment, our parents left and we were left to unpack. Instead of unpacking right away we kinda just sat down in the middle of it all and smiled at each other, like We did it!!!! It was such a great feeling. We ordered some chinese and ate off of the boxes in our living room, sitting on the floor. It was such a fun night.
Your turn, what was yours?

You know Kristen....you just reminded me of one of our happeist moments too because its basically exactly the same. We had actually moved in all the stuff already (well boxes and personal belongings) but not really any furniture so FH went out to the store and came back with these awesome patio chairs that he found on discount for like 4 bucks each. They are the comfiest things!!!! So we sat on them in the living room and ate what must of been takeout too. We had no tv yet but...CORNY WARNINGG....we had a picture window in that apartment and the sun was just setting and we just ate and watched the sun set. It was really just the most relaxing and happiest time for us!
I also must say that our other happiest times are always on vacation when we get to just kickback and relax and enjoy everything with each other

Mine would be one of two:
1- the day I came home from college. I spent the majority of the first 4 years of our relationship away at college and we only saw each other one weekend a month and during Christmas and Summer break. So when I graduated and finally came home, we got to learn what it was like to be in a relationship and actually SEE each other all the time.
2- the day we moved into our house. Not us first moving out together, we had an apt before this. But the HOUSE. It was like a huge accomplishment for us. We had some friends over and ate pizza on the living room floor b/c we didn't have any furniture yet. But it was great

The engagement was 100% our happiest moment. We have had a lot but I am drawing a blank on one that came close it that. I guess when Matt came home from the hospital after his accident that was a pretty incredible day. All the doctors and nurses kept stopping bye to say goodbye to him and wish him well, and when he went outside for the first time in 2 months the look on his face was just priceless.

Every morning when I wake up, roll over and see him sleeping next to me. And then i realize i am going to be able to do this forever.

i kind of laughed when I read yours Kristin b/c the day FH & I moved in together, I cried like a baby bc I moved away from my parents.
One of the happiest days for us was when we first started dating, we cut school and went into the city. We went to the Bronx Zoo and just spent the whole day together.

Great question!!
I have a few...
1. Our first 'date' before we were officially dating...he drove me home and we were driving around in his convertible at night staring up at the stars...it was then I realized how happy he made me
2. When FH came home from being out to work for 8 weeks last year - I was so super happy to finally have him home!
3. Our BVI vacation last year...we were both so relaxed and having fun
4. And of course - our engagement weekend! The day after we got engaged - we went away for a long weekend up in VT...so much fun.
5. There are a few others too!

we have so many it's so hard to choose. great question!
mine would be when we were on vacation in VT. we split up for me to ski on the kiddie slopes and him snowboard off of this huge mountain peak. we decided to meet at 2:30PM at the visitors center. long story short we never met there and were looking for each other for the next 3 hours. I was crying and was so worried, afraid something happened to him. and it was getting sooo late, pretty much all the skiers were gone. finally the staff helped us, and the 1st moment I saw him, was this amazing relief. I was so happy he was in one piece and just to see his face, hug him, and kiss him.

Good question lady!!!!
Alright I think I have a couple
1- our first date...it was just amazing and I was immediately 'in love'
2- our third date we went to see the philarmonic in central park, had wine and dessert under the stars and then we sat in his car and he turned to me and said 'I think you're the one'
3-our first trip together to Newport RI, we had so much fun and had couples massage...love it!!!!

Mine would be any one of our vacations. We love to get away from NY and be together relaxing. Whether it's visiting his family in N.C. or going on rides in Disney World, we're so so happy.

there are so many but the top 1 HAS to be when we were in the delivery room & he was all in scrubs (i had complications during my delivery - i was unable to delivery vaginaly so i had to have an emergency c-section - i was in some danger for a little while not long) & when they removed Emma and we waited to hear her cry and it came & Aldo got close to me and said 'baby, we have a beautiful little girl' - yup just teared up again.... that was 1 of my favorite moments with FH.

Aww.
Well, this is going to sound a little weird. I'm a huge huge huge Pearl Jam fan. Like, I have a PJ tattoo and have seen them throughout the country and such. So, a few years ago they announced that if you went to Tower Records in the Village and bought their new album, you'd get a free ticket to see them play Iriving Plaza. (For those that don't know, Irving Plaza holds...hmm...maybe 800-1000 people; it's a small space and I've always seen Pearl Jam play in only big arenas). I was so down for it, but FH was weary. He didn't want to wait for hours and thought we could get there that morning. I was like 'oh helllllll no! I'm getting there a day before!' He thought I was nuts (and this all resulted in a big fight). After we cooled down a little, he drove me past Tower and there was already a line at 3 in the afternoon the DAY BEFORE THE GIVEAWAY! (The giveaway started at midnight the following day!) So I started sh!tting bricks over it. I wanted nothing more than these tickets. Total one-track mind. He saw how nuts I was getting about it and drove me straight back to my apartment where I got some sleeping bags, a boombox and a bunch of sweatshirts and some food and next thing you know, it's a few hours later, we're on the line for the giveaway and we still have 30 hours to go. On a sidewalk in the Village. With no bathroom. And we survivied it! We got the tickets and had a blast at the concert.
Needless to say, we DID bicker throughout those 30 hours...that's only natural. But to this day we laugh about it and how nuts I am over this band. The fact that he was so cool about it and was just down for this kind of behavior that most others would find to be a bit on the wacky side helped me realize that he was a keeper! We were only about a year and a half into our relationship at that point, too.
I've since taken him to a slew of PJ shows. He's a convert and now realizes what the big deal was all this time!

The day he told me that he'd wait for me no matter what.... Long story short. When we first started talking about moving from friends to more.. I was hung up on this other guy and couldn't give him an answer. He basically said ' I'm not going anywhere' I think maybe 2 weeks later i made my decision.

It would have to be our trip to Islamorada 2 years ago. It was just so relaxing, laying on the beach and then dinner and drinks at night. It was just the two of us with no other distractions.

There are a few:
- when we first moved in together (nearly 4 years ago!)
- when we moved into our new hours (a year ago tomorrow)
- another one that stands out is the first time we didnt see each other for a few days. i went to vegas for a bachelorette party and itwas so hard being apart (I am used to it n ow...LOL). we were both so excited to see each other
